I can and would highly recommend the DJI mini se over any other budget drone as I bought mine brand new on eBay for £280 and the fly more kit so extra batteries props charger bav etc and it's far superior to this drone 3 axis gimbal yea it's a 2.7k camera but you wouldn't be able to tell the difference trust me but if you can afford it get the DJI mini 2 , 4k camera zoom function and so much more again go for a fly more kit.. good luck I love mine plus I know when I want to upgrade to the mini 3 pro I'll be able to sell my mini se for pretty much the price I've paid for it ESP if I don't end up using all three batteries as the DJI app records drones flights, batteries usage and charges for next owner to see why any DJI drone will out do any other drone of a similar price plus their app out does any other drone app plus all the minis require the minimal certificates or licence's and insurance needed to fly. My mini se just needs a drone ID and flyers ID which I have. Obtained by the CAA online test that only costs £10 a year to get or renew the drone I'd is free and lasts 5 years. This is UK CAA regulations. If you live outside the UK I do recommend you look up the CAA regulations and rules for you . CAA is the civil aviation authority. They make the rules for all aircraft. And mine being under 250 grams I can pretty much fly it where I want apart from airports, prisons military bases etc but less restricted for the drone in this video. So definitely worth checking the CAA rules mate before deciding what you get .... Plenty DJI mini se,2,3,3pro videos on utube 😉👌good luck fly safe keep the hobby available for everyone that can afford it 😉👌🫶👍💪🤞😄

I'm so jealous of that flat wide open space with no trees. Nothing like that where I live. Just bought this model. All I can say about it is that it's definitely sturdy because I wrecked it on an indoor test flight like an idiot and no damage besides a couple chinked propellers that were easy to replace. Yet another appreciative UAV pilot here. Your video is great. I really appreciate the thoughtfully detailed description of every feature. Awaiting the arrival of my purchase, an upgrade from my HS700 that has been in my arsenal for 2.5 years now. Have relied on Holy Stone drones for my recreational flights in that time. The only bummer is I wish they would get serious with the imagery metadata and give us the ability to create digital elevation models, etc with the imagery. They are so close.

Wow! Excellent tutorial. I received one for Christmas. I proceeded to get it stuck in a tree 40' up. I got it down (but cracked the two front arms off), but HolyStone was outstanding and sent me new ones no charge. I learned to respect where I am flying and to be more careful. I watched some many video but I was not getting a simple answer how the camera angle is changed. What two beep sound mean. I did not use any stabilizing software in this video. The EIS is a game changer for drones without a gimbal. Now, there are drone with both and that will be better :)

Great quality video review, nice drone. I got the MJX Bugs 20EIS last week, and the video quality looks about the same as what this Holy Stone is producing. Now I just saw another new drone with EIS, the SJRC F11 4K Pro. Not sure if it will use the same EIS system the Holy Stone and the MJX uses because I haven't seen any proper reviews of it yet. But man, yet another drone with EIS? This is going to be a great year for budget drones!

Ok, so I purchased the HS720E but I have a problem. I have calibrated it but when I click one key take off / landing, the drone takes off and hovers at about 5 feet but it is very eratic and doesn't stay in position. It drifts off considerably and controls are not very responsive. Just 20 feet or so away and it will not respond correctly. GPS is ON with 11 satellites being received Battery power is full Controler batteries are full Also, the controller says it is in Mode 2. I have tried to switch to mode 1 by holding the lock button down while switching on but it doesn't change from Mode 2. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks RCE.

Really great information! So helpful for a beginner like me. It's all a bit overwhelming and the Operator's Manuel needs to be translated into English by someone who speaks it as their "heart language", e.g., "long press" is the almost translation for "press and hold." So got the HS720E for Christmas. Not totally sold on the capabilities especially some irregularities with the software. Not able to share photos. assuming price is not a huge factor it seems the mini 2 is way way way more capable especially with the OccuSync.

What phone does it need to connect to? It's not mentioned in manual. Tried my Samsung A20, and my friend's Huawei, and it won't connect. I also have a problem with battery charger, that won't stop blinking, even after many hours of charging. Batteries seem to be charged though... I mean, I can fly it like regular RC plane, it even uses GPS utside, but no live video connection to my smartphone.

Watching this video again,. and this time I notice you have a portable table in the field with you. I was literally searching for a table today for the same purpose. Table from Walmart. Used to be $15 now it is $22. I still went and got a second one :) it’s worth it. @16.25, I grab it and get it angry but if you rotate it side ways, the motors will cut off. Sort of landing with your hands :) be careful though.

Are there any aftermarket blade guards that you can attach to this model? The HS website doesn't show any blade guards for the 720e. I bought one of these, and it's great...but when flying indoors, I had a little mishap with one of my curtains.

Not that I know of. I would recommend not flying brushless quads indoors.

Great video again my man. I really enjoy your videos. What would you give this drone on a 1 to 10 scale. I realize it is a budget drone, but I’m not ready to spend the big bucks yet. Would you suggest this drone as I bought the ZLL Sg906 pro 2 after your video. Tell me what you think between the Holy Stone or the ZLL. Is the Holy Stone build quality cheep.
