Exactly the videos I was looking for. I appreciated your thorough coverage of the typical issues affecting the reliability of this saw. If you have time to do the one year follow up that was mentioned I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for the videos !!!

Yes, I do need to work on the one year video. I haven't had any other issues. No broken parts and nothing to fix. It's proven to be a very reliable saw

Sounds great the dryer it is, the more dust. I de but my bar every time I clean the chip from the groove, keeps the chain working well. I also lube the bar tip hole, I’m cheep but I need my tools humming

I bought the same saw , when it arrived , I disassembled and replaced the carb to a walboro jetted at a saw shop , and purchased a custom ported muffler. The saw runs circles around my 455 and 61 . Now those saws just sit in the garage while the 372 is used for everything.

Where did you get your muffler?

Just a heads up , those holtzforma bars bend . I have 1 , it’s flimsy as hell . Waiting for a forester 28 to b delivered. And a skip tooth 🦷 cause , I like my saw screaming while my neighbors look out the window.

Great saws for the money...just curious what mix ratio do you run in your gas.....I would recommend adding another port to that muffler..by the looks it's getting really hot.🤙🏻😎

I've been using 25:1 just to give more lubrication to the cheap Chinese parts. Been thinking of trying another muffler. Just haven't spent the time to find one yet.

I was going to say the same...my 372 muffler is beginning to turn white also.

I couldn't get mine to ever run even halfway decent from new, I've got an oem husqvarna carburetor coming gonna put it on and see what happens
@aborntexan2 жыл бұрын
I hope that works for you. The Chinese carbs are definitely a weak link in these saws.
@michaelh59422 жыл бұрын
Have you a Part number from the original carburetor?

@@michaelh5942 yea get a walbro hd 12. unless you have the x torq version then it wont work
@michaelh59422 жыл бұрын
keep us posted if the saw runs better with the original carburettor. Unfortunately, mine doesn't run properly either. I am testing the original gasket set. if it doesn't help, a carburetor needs to be in

I normally don’t like buying Chinese clones but i think competition helps to keep down the rediculous prices that the big name companies charge! No saw should cost a grand!
@aborntexan3 ай бұрын
Exactly. There is a market out here for a powerful saw without the ridiculous price tag. I don't see the big boys dropping prices so....what you gonna do

Not sure about that. I'm using 25:1 ratio which is 6.4 ounces of oil to one gallon of fuel
