Tyrannosaurus are actually perfect for chase animations because they were ambush predators that relied on a short burst of speed and an OHKO bite to bring down a herbivore. That would require there be animations where it stalks, lies down and watches its target though

You know what's messed up? The fact that herbivores are just walking dumb cows. No defenses (mostly), no survival instincts, no safety in numbers mentality and no common sense. Like this small dino for instance. It has a chance to run or hide from the T-rex but nooo, it decides to wait for the carnivore to approach and pray to the All-Maker that the carnivore is friendly. In real life, a rhino or bison herd would be less favourable for carnivores to attack because not only are they dangerous, but their superior numbers can easily overwhelm the carnivore. The fact that a lone Indoraptor can just fight an ankylosaurus or a triceratops solo while the others just watch is hilarious. Frontier please fix this.

They should make this like JPOG, the herbivore goes in panic and tries to escape the carnivore, is less repetitive and more interesting because there is a chance for the herbivore to actually escape the hunter. These animations looks good but you can always tell what is going to happen.
