Unfortunately I work a 7-5 job and can't take much time off work. So after work and weekends is when I can help out. I do a lot more work in the next episodes :).

Thank you for filming this for us. I realize that it adds to the work load, but it helps people like me who are doing the work alone. I will admit that I am superman, yet watching your process helps me envision my process. It is dead winter here now, so there is ample time to prepare myself to clearly see what needs to be done. Me: Skill level: 3 Intellectual level: 7 Creative level 10, Built like a bulldog with wings. Thank you for helping others with this series. It would be nice if it was aligned as a playlist for sequential beginning to end viewing. I wish you all the best.

Hey, thanks for the comment! It's also dead winter here right now, thankfully the addition/house is properly sealed now. But I definitely don't have as much motivation to do anything now compared to the summer. I work 9-6 and when I come home the last thing on my mind is more work. But we're pushing through it. I am spending this time and working on a few more videos for my channel, a few of which are more updates that I filmed months ago. Wish you the best as well!

Did you fill cinder blocks with concrete? Just curious, because you didn't show it on video

Yes we did, and rebar. It was difficult to capture every aspect of a project like this, but I'm very happy with what I was able to capture.

The entire budget for the project is about 100k, about 2/3rds of the way through right now. This includes only about 5% labor. The rest of the labor was done by my father and I, and friends and family. Take a look at some of the latest videos. I also have a few more I'm working on.

750 sqft top and 750 bottom. New garage is 530 sqft.
