So after the great first film everbody has wanted this next film so here we are with the sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York. After snarky youth Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) loses track of his father at the airport, he mistakenly gets on a plane headed for New York City -- while the rest of the McCallisters fly to Florida. Now alone in the Big Apple, Kevin cons his way into a room at the Plaza Hotel and begins his usual antics. But when Kevin discovers that the Sticky Bandits (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) are on the loose, he struggles to stop them from robbing an elderly man's toy store just before Christmas. This is hard decision I have no idea which one is better but this one is Really really funny!

I think the reason why Daniel Stern made his scream sound so shrill when Harry and Marv had pigeons all over them was because Daniel Stern was trying to convey how much Marv is afraid of birds

Yeah, the traps in the first movie COULD have killed Harry and Marv. The traps in the second movie DEFINITELY would have killed them. Every time I watch these and they get injured I just think "A-a-a-nd... dead."

In the first, film Marv would have died at 3 points. -Iron to the head -Paintcan to the Face, landing head first at the bottom of the stairs, then Harry landing on top of him -Snow Shovel to the back of the head. In Home Alone 2 however, every trap except the staple gun and the tool chest going down the stairs he has a possible death or sure death Dude is immortal.

Home Alone 2 is just as good as first one the traps definitely in this one were more Dangerous then the first for sure and I loved the new setting in New York I also loved the Hotel Cast it was funny to hear Kevin calling Uncle Frank for being a Cheapskate

I rewatched the scene, and the bill lists the following items: 2 Chocolate Cakes 6 Chocolate Mousse Ice Cream w/ Misc. Toppings 6 Custard Flan ($48.00) 1 Pastry Cart ($210.00) 8 Strawberry Tarts ($76.00) 36 Chocolate-Covered Strawberries ($47.00) The subtotal was $728.00 before tax and gratuity, so the cakes, mousse, and ice cream cost $347. Based on the other prices, I'm going to estimate that the mousse totaled around $57 ($9.50 apiece), the cakes around $120 ($60 each), and the ice cream cart around $170. EDIT: I looked up the Plaza Hotel's current room service menu, and the "Home Alone Sundae" is currently priced at $350, so $170 isn't too far off what it would be going back to 1992 (maybe closer to $160?). A single serving of cake runs around $25 (~$11.50 in 1992), so if Kevin ordered two whole cakes, $60 or more each wouldn't be unreasonable either.

What blows my mind is that if Harry kept his mouth shut about Kevin then they would've gotten away with robbing the toy store. Likewise Kevin didn't have to go after them, he just did it because it was the right thing to do.

In the scene where Kevin is on the wrong plane and he asks the man next to him about whether he's been to Florida before. The man says something in French but Kevin doesn't understand him. If you were ever wondering what the man said, here's the translation: "What's that? I'm from France and I'm a tourist here, it's my first time coming to America. Do you know any good restaurants around here? Or what about your parents. Do they know a good place? Why aren't you answering? You speak a bit of French, right? I don't speak English at all, you could give me a bit of help at least. My name is Andre. What's your name?"

1. Burglars arrested in Chicago, IL wouldn't be in jail in New York. They're too stupid to get there on their own. Twice as many pearls are on the ground than Kevin pulled off the neckless. That brick Kevin dropped on Marv would have killed him. Given the evaporative nature of kerosene, the volatility would be so low, the rope would barely light, if at all. 2. They went Hollywood and recent versions eliminated the Donnald Trump scene. 3. My honey Ally Sheedy😍😋 is the NY information lady. 4. "Angles with even filthier Souls" is not a real movie. 5. Mr. Duncan/Eddie Bracken also played Roy Wally in "Vacation" 6. This was funny but, Kevin being mean was a little turnoff.
