Christopher was always there, he just wasn't seen very often. He and Duncan (Alf and Ailsa's son) were friends and got into a few scrapes over the years. He left with Pippa in 1998. He returned for a guest appearance (played by a new actor) in 2003.

With the homecoming of Maz and Stevo, it was like 1995 was a year when the show went back to its roots (although not as noticeable as 2000 when they pretty much hit the reset button, Sutherlands and guest visits from cast gone by). Emily Symons and Adam Willits must have realised that H&A was still the hottest ticket in town and they wanted back in!

Thanks. Seeing these just show me what a great actress Emily Symons is. I first saw her on Emmerdale and her character was a world away from Marilyn. I can also see why Angel was so popular. She's very likeable and unique.

Pippa and Michael did have a son that died of cot death and yes Christopher was always there just not seen often he would hang out with Alfs son Duncan as they were the same age and good friends.I remember when Pippa's baby died it was very sad but the handled it well.The only thing i didn't like was how they switched the two actress that played Pippa in a very non convincing way i mean they were so diffrent it was hard to ignore that and Debera Lawrance was no where near as good

Vanessa Downing was much better as Pippa. I don’t think I ever accepted Debra Lawrence as Pippa,even though she played the part longer?
