@@laxjs Yeah I think so. I don't really use the map view from the roborock card all that much but I do use the buttons on each specific room that are on my dashboard.

I love my roborock s6 but I took it a step further and installed valetudo I on the robot to make it entirely local only controls. I also made mine play complaining audio files when it bumps into things. It's hilarious and I love it

hahah that is really cool :) Did you have to mess with the hardware to install this firmware or it is only software updating procedure?

I can't wait until someone finds a way to integrate semi-professional drones such as the dji mavic air with this software so that they can autonomously patrol my property for 1/8 of the price of current solutions of this type. This is magnificent. What I have is a Eufy robot vacuum, and the way to do is by pairing it with an older version of the official Eufy app rather than the Xiaomi app. It didn't work for me, maybe because I was using a different model then that prescribed in the tutorial. I will try pairing it work xiaomi and update this content if it works. Thanks a million.

On what device did you install Home Assistant? It all runs so smooth! I tried installing it on a Rpi 3b on uSD-card, but that made my network crash. Now I'm struggling a while to install it on an Intell NUC with Ubuntu via Docker, but without succes. I found several video's and everything went so smooth and I keep struggling. Only the installation on the Rpi went smooth, but there I got network trouble. I'm sorry to bash this video with the HA-installation question, but I'm lost. I came to this video for the Roborock integration btw 😉

@KPeyanski, Great video, still waiting fom my S7 unit. I understand that I need to use the "Mi Home" to register the unit and extract the token for HA. When all this is done, can I use the Roborock App as well to control the unit from the mobile, they say that this App is much better than Mi Home App?

Hello! Great, thank you! But here's the problem: there is a power setting for the vacuum cleaner, but no setting for washing the floor! For this reason, I can’t set up cleaning: first vacuum, then wash! (( Any thoughts on solving the problem?

Hey, nice video. Thanks a lot, very helpful! I've got two maps in my App. One of them is in the wrong angle. Any ideas to rotate the map? If i do this in the App, it wouldn't change in HA. :-( One does, one not!

I have 2 vacuums (Roborock S7&Old Xiaomi Mi Robot) both connected to HA my only issue is that I can get only one map for both vacuums , is there away to install the extractor twice? (noticed you have 2 vacuums as well)

No, it is not possible to extract the maps with the simple method and you don't have to do that if you don't need the map in Home Assistant and only the basic controls are enough for you.

@@KPeyanski thanks. I just gave the token extractor a try and it doesn't work because of 2FA, there's a github issue for it on the repo, i'll keep trying but hopefully it gets sorted eventually

Ohh man. Been struggling for hours.. Realized i had "&" in my password. After i changed it to something without special characters. Everything worked. So if anyone can't get the map up and only recieves a bunch of error messages, check your password for special characters.

nevermind found the solution on Github. If anyone encounters this here's the fix: It means port 22 is already in use. 2 options: 1) Change port 22 to something else in the add-on "Network Config" section 2) Free up or change the port of the service/application that currently uses port 22
