I’ve had this bread machine for a few years, and I love it! The one-pound loaves are a perfect size for my husband and I to use up within a couple of days. The dough feature is fantastic for when we make specialty breads and rolls. I have three Zojirushi products, and I love the functions and quality of all of them! (This bread maker, stainless steel lunch jar, and a rice cooker-all over 10 years old and working quite well!). Thanks for great products, Zojirushi!🥰

This is a great machine. I have it and the recipes in the owner's manual are excellent. If the recipes are followed carefully, the bread turns out great.

I bought this machine to make Diedre's Low Carb bread. It works wonderfully. If setting for white bread (regular firmness, regular crust) it will be 3.40 minutes total. It bakes for the last 56 minutes with this setting. So if you enter 2.40 on a timer when you hit [START] then you can garnish the top of the loaf during the last 4 minutes of the 3rd rise (before bake).

Hello from the future! Sorry if you've already gotten an answer or found out yourself, but from my own bread making experience, butter and milk are used for flavor and texture more than anything and cheap bread can be made using only water, flour, sugar, salt and yeast, although you may find the texture lacking. Substitutes are fine because it is the fat needed from the butter and milk to ensure soft, moist bread. Happy baking!!

Do i need to firsy make a dough with the machine, take out n remove the blades? Then pour the dough back into the container and then bake in the machine?

We don't recommend doing this since it will compromise the rise. The kneading blades will be needed during the rise cycles since the dough will need to be punched down. And if they are taken out during the rise then it will cause the loaf to be a bit shorter and denser. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Hi there, at the moment we do not have any recipes using wholemeal bread, however you are more than welcome to experiment with wholemeal flour for your breads using your breadmaker! We will definitely make note of wholemeal recipes in the future.

The blade does not lock in, it should have some wiggle room!

Can I use premium instant yeast with dough enhancers?

We would advise using Active Dry Yeast for our regular recipes. Instant or Rapid Rise yeast can be used with the Quick bread recipes included. @@thunderjoy7250 Based on your question, the BB-SSC10 would be better for you. It comes equipped with a gluten free course and a Homemade course that you can customize for any recipe you are testing.
