Great match from your side Pietro! What is your thought process when going out wide or down the T or to the body when serving?

Thank you! It honestly depends, on the big moments I like to go with my best serves (T from deuce and wide from Ad). Otherwise it’s all about pattern recognition, during the match I notice which are his weakest returns or what spot gives me the best chance of hitting a forehand on the next shot

I hate this format where the match just ends unfinished, gives the team the win already and let the players finish their battle, for both sides there's no more that much pressure so they can play more relaxed and in matches like this you both were in a giant mental battle I imagine, so you are practicing, cutting the match like this just ends up throwing your progress away and prevents you from dealing with the entire situation that the match was and would still be.

I know, I was surprised this was a thing when I came to college. Sometimes it’s really annoying when you’re about to win, or when you are in a such fun battle like right here and it’s a toss up. It’s tough because it adds a factor of not only trying to win, but trying to win “quickly” otherwise you might not finish. And then sometimes you’ll end up rushing and blowing the chance like you’ll see in a fee videos
