I had those cots in a commercial daycare I taught at years ago! We would leave the blankets on them and stack them together. They were really nice. In my home daycare, I use Rigalo cots that fold and can be put on a shelf in the closet.

@@sunnypatchpreschool oh no! I do like the ones you have as well, I think yours are more sturdy. I do have to replace 1-2 cots every year.

These cots are great . What do you do with kids who don’t want to take a nap? Some parents ask for kids to just read a book instead. So they can put them to sleep at 7pm when they get home.

Most of the children in my program nap, if I get a child who doesn’t nap I have them lay quietly for the first hour of nap time then I move them to the other side of our room and put Sesame Street or some other educational show on. I let parents know that I won’t keep a child awake during naptime, we’re SUPER busy in the morning! Also most of my children are under the age of five so they’re still usually in the age of needing a nap.
