That light mod though...................genius! That makes the entire box much more than just a tool box.

nice review, almost bought the standard 52in box from the Depot today, glad I saw your video! I like the soft close draws, and this one has the plugs. the other 52in doesn't have those 2 options. And I like the all black. perfect for my garage for working on my own car/truck and snowmobiles. Thanks
@kwmiked7 жыл бұрын
also like the better wheels and locks on this 52. The standard 599$ 52in I was looking at today had no wheel locks and no power strips and no soft close draws. so for 100$ more I think this one is worth it. also the 56in box manufacturer looks similar to the cheaper52in I was looking at. ?
@e36m3JeffKennedy7 жыл бұрын
The standard isn't bad but for the $100 its well worth it to get the flat black, in my opinion.

Great video, man. I just bought a similar box from HD. That light hack was worth the view alone. I wanted an LED, but I didn't want to deal with a battery. Also, yeah, separating out the 1/2 sockets from the others is probably what I will do too. Doesn't make sense to cram it all in one drawer.

They have 2 versions of this box, the standard at 20 gauge steel and the 18 at 20 gauge steel for 798 vs 698 for the standard. Is it worth it for the heavier gauge? I think the drawers are an inch deeper as well.

I was just at home depot and they have a new bow that is 24" deep and made in Canada, the price was double this box though and the display is blue, the flat black sold me on this one. Hows it still holding up for you? I've only had mine a few months but a lot of my drawers no longer auto close and when I took the drawers out to figure out why I found that the little clasp the drawers close on to engage the soft close have broken on about 50% of my drawers..

Gerardo Perales the wheels fell off mine when I rolled it out of the store, but thats because they don't assembly them correctly. I torqued the bolts down pretty good after than and no it doesn't wobble now. I honestly really like the box for what it cost.

e36m3 Jeff Kennedy I am enjoying Hyundai far more than Kia. it's going GREAT. I had considered going back to Chrysler, but chose not to. It's good to initially just make videos. Helps build your channel, figure out what exactly you want to do with it. Then after a while comes editing... but I wouldn't worry about that until you have 50+ videos up. Just my 2 cents. I don't even edit like I should. lol. I look forward to watching your future videos.
