I never thought of looking at clearance plants til I started watching your channel. It’s so great to find half off plants when they are still in good/fair conditions. Love all your flower beds and you have a lot of land for them. 🌸

Good hosta rule of thumb: blues are shade only. Greens can take some of both. Yellows can tolerate more sun. None of them like complete sun, though. The tougher ones limp along, but they're not happy about it.

Your garden always looks so great! I'm in Arkansas and I know Georgia is just as hot and humid as my area. My poor flowers look so sad right now. We had a severe storm a few weeks ago that felled 4 trees and flattened all the flower beds! I'm currently trying to recover from that storm and it's a very slow process. The intense heat and humidity isn't helping the plants. But thanks for your wonderful garden updates as it's so encouraging! :)

Thank you. You are so right about this heat. So sorry about the trees damaging your plants. Hope they recover soon. We had a random thunderstorm yesterday that took out some power lines but thibgs are up and running again.The heat is probably not helping. Hope the rest of your season goes well.

Hey there! Beautiful finds but I wanted to let you know that with clearenced hostas you should be on the lookout for hosta virus X. It almost looks like those have them - with the "bubbling leaves" but I'm not too sure.

Good deals. I only have inside plants now at my daughters house. My outdoor plants I used to have caused issues with my son in law. I really enjoy videos with both indoor and outdoor plants.I always enjoy your videos.

Try planting the lavender in a container and not in the ground and they should be ok. If you want to plant lavender in the ground in clay soil try phenomenal lavender or lavandula intermedia it has worked great in my clay soil in Texas zone 8b 🤷‍♀️

I'm always afraid to spray anything for bugs as it could harm or kill beneficial and not sure but I'm afraid if birds, toads or frogs and lizards eat the bugs they will die.

Nice ! You're so Lucky..... finding very good plants on clearance...my Lowe's clearance is not good at all.... I've tried but I always waste my $$.... 😌

I also got some of the degenius delphiniums. They are the product of many years of of working to get repeating bloomers apparently

The lowes close to me lets their plants die before they mark down.

That's really sad. Try building a rapport with the garden staff..theyvcan be friendly and willing to mark down if you ask
