What is a CSI Resource?
A Crime Scene Investigation encourages learners to explore the evidence, facts and theories surrounding the controversial events that led to the death of a president.
They will evaluate and weigh up the evidence from original source documents and examine various theories on what happened on the fateful day and who else might have been involved. Finally, they will write a report of their findings, choosing the appropriate level of guidance to help them assess what they believe to be the truth.

For this video, we've focused on our latest CSI resouce as an example, but the planning and ideas can be used in relation to our other CSI Resource packs too.
The mystery behind the JFK assassination will grab your child’s attention instantly, and the use of cards keeps this task hands-on. The written summary task is differentiated so that they can choose the appropriate level for them.
Please note: The sensitive nature of this topic covers themes of murder, death and conspiracy, and so it is more suitable for older learners. Younger children may be able to access it with support and older learners and adults may also enjoy the challenges posed by this resource. Sensitive and/or upsetting topics may emotionally impact your learners. You should consider whether this content is appropriate and ensure adequate support is available for anyone affected.
