Ok this is probably going to sound dumb but every preview and clip about this film has stirred up real grief in me. I'm crying after just that short clip. I'm going to watch this this week but I am sure it isn't going to be easy. I'm not American I'm a Kiwi, Mãori even, yet I feel a real love for America, it hurts so much that she never really healed any of her hurts and things seem worse than ever. I am afraid for all of you, particularly this week. I am afraid for my friends there and for all the people without power or the means to buy it and I'm afraid because many of the worst aspects of what I see are spreading, even here. It hurts and it's scary to be living in.

Pretty surface level nonsense. Two parties or parliament with five, issues remain. America is better off than most of Europe for many reasons, and one of them is likely the two party system. In European and UK there isn’t clear distinctions between parties, so changing the direction of your country takes far longer and is less likely.

It was the equivalent of a 60's sit-in. If you don't know what that is, crack a history book. An organized protest and temporary occupation of a political building. Not an "insurrection". Those are MUCH quicker, MUCH more violent. No queuing up at the door while a cop holds you back for half an hour while all the congresspeople safely leave before you start your protest tour.
