The best thing about it is that a person doesn't really "notice" the beatboxing. The simple (not simple to do), properly placed, authentic vocal percussion isn't showy or unnecessarily demanding one's attention. He is by far the best at keeping the sound and rhythm realistic to provide the natural sounding base for the group to build upon.

Simply beautiful cover by the best A Cappella group on the planet (IMHO of course) - the blend was incredible and the vocal arrangement was stunning. It took this old guy back to the "Sock Hop" days of shy boys wishing they had the courage to ask a girl for a dance - and usually the girl was hoping they would... such innocents' so long lost... My husband and I are usually all over watching your videos as soon as they come out. This one, well, that just couldn't happen. Let me explain why, because, honestly, you guys are literally one of the few musical areas the two of us can agree on. January 3rd just about ended my world entirely. It was literally the most normal day. I had a dr appointment to get stitches removed from an ankle surgery the month prior. Shopping, lunch, home and chill. The next thing I knew my husband was crawling into our front door from being at his parents' (we all live on the same property). He was in excruciating pain in his abdomen. He wanted to just wait and see if it settled. But he couldn't get comfortable, breath well nor use his legs. Ok, I'll make this shorter. A trip to our local ER showed something much much worse than just a gut issue. His aorta (the big artery that takes blood from the heart to the rest of the body) had ruptured. He was life flighted to OSU Columbus and this began our long, and still ongoing, journey. In the first week and a half to two weeks we almost lost him 3 different times, he had 4 major surgeries, and at any moment we were waiting for his body to give out. But he fought on. The last thing we said to each other was: me "You better fight like hell or I'm gonna kick your a##!" him "You know I will". And he did. He fought and fought. Today, he's feeding himself, talking, and doing so much more than we ever thought possible again. A talk with his heart surgeon before his open heart surgery informed me that he was a dead man. If not then he should have been or would be soon. But, he isn't!! His love has always amazed me. Never doubted how much he loved and cherished me. Your cover of this song tears at my heart because of what we don't have right now because of what happened. It also makes me remember how much we mean to each other. And reminds me how amazed I am at his love now. He has fought to stay alive me for. Through unthinkable odds and impossible odds, he has fought it all to come home to me. Sorry this is so long. I finally listened and cried through it all, missing him and so much about him. You all and your music are just so important to me right now. Thank you thank you for what you do. The funny, the serious, the heartwarming. All of it. Please, don't stop. Always remember that your personalities and music do so much in peoples lives.
