You NEED to do so many more Home Free Videos! I'm a Fan of Pentatonix but IMO Home Free kills it everytime and in many Genre's too! Home Free had a change of Singers in the Group just as Pentatonix had when Avi Kaplan left to go Solo. In Home Free's Case Chris Rupp one of the Founding Members Left in 2015-2016 to go Solo and he's doing well too, just as Avi is doing. So to recognize Chris Rupp in the Home Free Videos, he's the one that almost always wears a Cowboy Hat or has a Shaved head. He was replaced by Adam Chance known as Chance because of the 2 Adams in the Group! Adam Rupp, the other Founding Member and brother of Chris is the Beatboxer! He's the BEST Beatboxer IMO! Anyways you mentioned that they didn't show him off that much but you missed his sillouette at the beginning and throughout the Video! I strongly suggest that you React to "Man Of Constant Sorrow", you see soooooooooo much more Adam Rupp The Beatboxer! After that try "Ring Of Fire" Featuring Avi Kaplan formerly of Pentatonix! And with this one you'll HEAR Adam Rupp alot in this Video! It's also a Bass Showdown!😜👍😎

@@DyvmSlorm yep look for Tim Foust blown out speaker in the search bar
@dnwiebe3 жыл бұрын
@@DyvmSlorm Yeah...that one wasn't because of his bass voice; he was "cheating." It's a special technique that some basses develop that allows them to go clear down past the sonic range to where their sound is perceived as just a series of clicks instead of a tone. Geoff Castellucci does the same thing. The technique is based on something that just about anybody can do, plus an insane amount of practice and development. (I can _do_ it, but I certainly can't _sing_ with it; the most I can do is talk with it.) Which is not to say that Foust doesn't have a freak-of-nature bass voice: he does. Or that he doesn't have a virtuoso's control of it: he does. But popping the speaker wasn't a thing he did with his natural singing voice: it was a trick.

They are considered a country acapella group, but they do so much more, They have some soul. The bass guy can sing incredibly low. Each of them can sing a good lead, even the beatboxer can sing and harmonize with them when he's not beatboxing. They are experts of harmony. PTX won the 3rd season of the acapella singing show "The Sing-Off" (it only ran 5 seasons) and Home Free won the 4th season of the show.

Castellucci may actually be better as a bass vocalist, but Home Free is better--most specifically, has better arranging and orchestration talent--than VoicePlay. I think Pentatonix should have done whatever was necessary to steal Castellucci from VoicePlay when Avi Kaplan left. I'm sure Matt is a nice guy, but Avi was far more than his share of the original Pentatonix sound, and Matt just hasn't ever quite been able to fill his shoes.

You're just getting started with Home Free. I believe Adam Rupp is the Best Beat Boxer out there and they do give him more face time in other videos. I also believe Tim Foust, the bass, has the best low register and one of the widest tonal ranges out there. Keep in mind that Home Free is a bit more Country, than PTX, who is more POP. But these guys do a fantastic job on covering songs regardless of the genre. You have a lot of catching up to do as far as Home Free and PTX. Home Free just released a few awesome songs in the past week, "American Pie" great song and they collaborated with and included Don McLean, the original writer and artist of the song. They also release a cover of Percy Sledge's "When A Man Loves a Woman", Primarily a solo by Austin, he does a fantastic job. You are a nice couple, Cynthia, absolutely beautiful. Thank you both for sharing your reaction with us. Keep those Home Free and PTX reactions coming. There are few other A Capella groups out there, Vocal Rush, VoicePlay, Small Town Titans. If you want something light and fun, check out PTX and VoicePlay, doing "You're a Mean One Mr Grinch". If you want some really amazing bass from some light skinned dudes, you have to check out Home Free cover of "Ring of Fire" (Johnny Cash). Avi Kaplan who use to be the bass for PTX, joins Home Free. He and Tim will blow your socks off, if you like the bass sound.

The beatboxer is actually one of the founders of the group. He doesn't get much screen time in a lot of their stuff and from what I hear that is actually his preference. He never sings lead, only beatboxing and background and I've heard it takes a lot of convincing to get him to sing because he's oddly shy about regular singing (or so I heard). Trust me, if he wanted the spotlight he'd get it. The group basically takes turns being the lead singer. On their concerts the beatboxer does a 'drum solo' which...well its even better than you would assume.

I've heard Pentatonix, VoicePlay, and Home Free referred to as the Trifecta of a cappella. They all seem to be really good friends. There are several times were one member of a group will appear in another's video (Avi Kaplan from PTX singing with HF in Ring of Fire, for instance, then doing a quick walk thru with a "Hi, there" wave to the camera in Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget). I've heard of several instances where one guy will help on the arrangement or choreography for another group's video. Another great example of this is VoicePlay's Just Sing, which should be watched with the closed captions on BTW or you'll miss a lot of information on who's who. Geoff and Tim side by side is a hoot!

Ya want some bass, search “Tim Foust’s vibration.” A live version of their song Honey I’m Good and you can see and feel the camera shake

If you want to see more of their beat-boxer, then you need to react to Home Free’s cover of Garth Brooks’ song, “Ain’t Going Down ‘Till The Sun Comes Up”, or how about their cover of the song, “Man Of Constant Sorrow” before that? They’re country songs, but if you want to see the beat-boxer more, then I think you’ll enjoy them. Also, if you want more bass, then react to Tim Foust’s cover of “Misty Mountain”! It’s a duo with a friend of his, and not with the rest of Home Free, but if you like bass, then you’ll LOVE this! By the way, Tim has a vocal range of 5 octaves, and has been known to bust the speakers during shows!

You haven't even heard the bass that Tim the bass can sing. Try Ring of Fire. Great reaction you two.

If you enjoy bass, try Voiceplay. Their bass (I've heard that he considers himself "a baritone with a bass range), Geoff Castellucci, also has some solo songs (Sixteen Tons, Bare Necessities, etc.).

The beat boxer is Adam Rupp one of the founders of the group. Check out his drum solo video or keep watching Home Free videos he gets plenty of air time. The bass is Tim Foust and you haven't seen anything yet.
