Unfortunately, talent is only a portion of what gets people on the radio. Otherwise, we would for sure have Home Free all over the radio! Even if they weren't on the radio, I wish they were more popular than they are. They have a much smaller following than they deserve :/

Record Studios or lack there of.
@daleb12792 жыл бұрын
The radio industry is tied to the music production industry, so unless someone is signed with the large recording studios, they aren't going to get played on new music radio. Female country artists can't even get play now. What I've been hoping for is that the guys might be able to book more national TV shows and get some exposure that way. I also thought after watching the National Memorial Day Concert on PBS that it and the 4th of July concert that is also done on PBS each year would be the perfect venue for HF and they've already produced several patriotic standards that would be a great fit for both concerts. There need to be more home fries!

I've been asking the same. I also want the CMAs to add an Acapella category. Or, to honor them in the group category where they belong.

My husband and I would say this to each other -- Up until the day God called him Home. And still I love him - The world sees me as an old widow and to them I am -- But to me I am still as much his wife now as the day we made our wedding vows to each other. To the moon and back --- forever and a day --- Until God reunites us and then through eternity.

God bless you, sweet lady! My attachment to the song is from a group I joined eons ago called chemo angels. I was assigned to a 5 yr old with leukemia. We became friends with the family. He is now 18...still terminal, but his motto is Never Ever Give Up. The family has adopted 8 special needs kids from Ukraine over the years. Anyway, my cancer buddy has said from day 1..."I love you to the moon & back." Isn't it amazing how we can all relate to something so differently, yet so much the same? I will hope & pray that you live, not as the the old widow, but as the vibrant lady with a purpose! You got this thing called life, so grab it by the horns & ride it!!! God bless you!

Well they did it again. Thanks guys and Maggie. Home Free and Maggie are amazing singers. Such a sweet song. It reminds me of my Granddaughter when she was 2 years old. Her mom would tell her she loved her from the Moon And Back...and Abbie Jo would tell her mom she Loved Her From the Moon and Front. It was so dang cute. I will have a big smile the rest of the day.

This is so beautiful, and the video is lovely. Great story telling song. I've been wanting to hear Home Free sing with a woman. Maggie makes a perfect match. Plus the fiddle is also a bonus! I have always said this phrase to my kids and grandkids. "I love you to the moon and back", and I also said "I love you more each day." So sweet!
