What most of the younger generation really don't understand about both the cover, and the original O' Jay version simply because steam train engines went by the wayside long ago. Was that the song tempo, as well as the "break it down" part of the song, the high pitched singing (train whistle) all coincide with the sounds that old steam train engines made while towing their loads at speed, and braking, etc. That "Chuga Chuga" sound of the dual steam pistons in the beat line is unmistakable. Home Free is one of the best Acapella bands I've ever heard.

They have so many great songs and covers, it's hard to go wrong with any of them. I love End of the Road and Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get it on. I Can't Outrun You is great as well

Their cover of Stop, Drop and Roll is one of my favs. and the video with it is beautiful. Also their newest one, When You Walk In is incredible. Nice reaction, ma'am

Ok so, the guy who sings bass is the one with the long dark hair and no beard, he actually can sing super high too. He's also been teaching their newest member (short dark hair, short beard, no glasses) how to sing low. In their cover of the song 'Mayday', he shows off how high he can go, and their newest member shows his newly found base skills. Please react to their cover of 'Mayday' I think you'll really really like it.

I don't know which season of Sing Off he was in and can't recall the name of his group at the moment, but Chance was previously the bass singer. He took the usual baritone position when joining Home Free because bass was taken.

Loved your reaction! If you ever get a chance to see them live, take it! It's incredible. They are great singers as you said, but their showmanship and laughs and fun together and with the crowd is out of this world! I have been them five times live now and leave happy and smiling every single time!

If you want a shirt, you can get them at concerts! Or show up if they call for fans to be extras in their videos (like they did for their video of “Sold!”, which you should also react to!), and I think you can buy them through a link on their KZbin or Facebook pages.
@danielkapity5636 жыл бұрын
hey dear love your reaction,and I with the rest of the Home free fans would love to see more if you please. If you want to know more about them you can check out their sing off performances with intro and judges comments. I would suggest doing more of their older ones first, then their newer ones. That will let you hear them more individually. They've covered different styles and collaborated with different artists too. Peter Hollens to name one,and I know there are others also. Thanks I'm looking forward to it. God bless and hope you have a good day.

Great Reaction. I recently discovered Home Free, and became instant fan. Only what I've heard, but apparently, they asked all their fans to send them dancing clips with little explanation, and used them for the video. So none of them knew they would be dancing to this song.

Thanks!! You should check out Mayday and When You Walk In (original) They also have a new video coming out I think next week. They are just as they seem in their videos.. such sweet guys and tall.. all are 6'1" - 6'4"!! Those were all "Fries" in the video.. the guys sent out a call for anyone who wanted to send a video of them dancing would get a chance to be part of the video. Summer in the Country (original) and Friends in Low Places are a couple of fun songs too.

Great reaction. I don't know if anyone told you how this one came together. Patrons got e-mails asking for "clips of you, your friends, or family members dancing to upbeat music." They didn't tell us which song's video was going to use the clips, but as you could see, some of us guessed. I wasn't able to send in a video, but I wish I had been. :-) After seeing them do this song live, back in May 2018, I love it even more. They use it as the FINAL encore at their concerts right now, and the crowd is in it from the first note. It's just tremendous, and a great way to end an evening where nobody in the place wants to get out of their seats to leave. That's the only part of the concert I hated...having to leave. I'd have stayed there for DAYS! :-) Going to go see what other Home Free videos you may have reacted to. Thanks for this one. :-)

You really need to check out their new one it's a cover of Boyz 2 Men's song "End of the Road" and they hit it out of the park, but if you want to hear Tim (the bass) singing more you should check out "In the Blood" and "Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On" mash up or "Oh Holy Night" and "How Great Thou Are" are two good one's too, but their "Butt's Remix" really shows off their humor. Love the reaction!!!

Love your reaction to Home Free's "Love Train." Could you please do a reaction for "Woman, Amen/Female." I know you'll love it. It's an awesome mashup of two great songs, one from Dierks Bentley and the other Keith Urban, both wonderful artists on their own. However, Home Free just mashes the two together and makes cheesecake out of mashed potatoes, so to speak. Love it!
