I never cared for this song and would tune out when it was on but I LOVE THIS VERSION!!! I listen to it once a week or more even in the summer. Adam's arrangement is absolutely phenomenal!!! The guys said this is the most complicated arrangement they've ever done. Now on a note that tells how personally wonderful they are as people. I was supposed to see them in concert last night but the artic storm hit and I couldn't go. They asked for my info and when I emailed it to them I got an email telling me they had added me to their guest list for the next time they're here. They are trying to help the fans who were unable to attend because of the weather. Most groups would just take the ticket money and say oh well. There is no group musically or personally better than HF. Loved your reaction.

Whoa! I thought I was already subscribing here -- glad I came back for another watch/listen. Every time I hear this masterpiece, I find another little spark of genius that I'd missed before. Adam certainly proved his musical skills early in this phase of Home Free's amazing rise in popularity. Your knowledge and reactions are wonderful, this one particularly so. This is my favorite Home Free song. Adam's arrangement is so complex and fabulous. Rumor has it that the guys won't let him arrange for them because while his arrangements are sensational - they are sensationally difficult. I was mesmerized from the first "note", if vocal percussion has notes. Still wows me every time. I just saw them do this in concert and it is every bit as amazing live. Great reaction. Asam did an exceptionaljob on that arrangement. Cole this is just CLASS stuff....I can't wait for you to react to their cover of Trace Adkins cover "I can't outrun you" with Chance doing not only the lead but he also directed the video....his use of color and the camera is exceptional...and his voice & personality fit the song perfectly....it's a match that produced an exceptional video....PLEASE think about doing a reaction !!!

Totally agree! My favorite Chance lead! It’s so haunting, his lead is beautiful, and the 5 part harmony is will melt your heart. I find myself pushing for Chance leads as it seems they’re not requested as often. Chance and Rob are my favorite lead vocalists for HF(not that I don’t appreciate every one of them).

This is *such* a satisfying composition. Super atmospheric intro, the 4 octaves in 4 seconds round is such a fun flex, Tim's bass work is great (as always), Austin busts out an amazingly accurate quacky Strat-NO-caster funk guitar line (crazy!), & that Stevie Wonder -esque key twist 3/4 in is #ChefsKiss!! So much to keep the ear entertained. Adam (the beatboxer) deserves some kind of award for creating an arrangement this special from a much less interesting original. :)

For me one of the best arranged songs, or perhaps the best, of Home Free. So impressive! The so great harmonies, the deep bass,the inhuman beatboxing/vocal percussion, the sound effects, colors, etc. in such a beautiful but cold environment. When I saw and heard this for the first time, I did repeat it a few times. Just amazing.

Also a fave of mine. In addition to his insane beatboxing skills, Adam is a superb trumpet player. Some of Austin's punctuating high notes sound very 'trumpet-y' to me. This was recorded near where I used to live for many decades. Always reminded of the frigid MN as I watch from balmy SoCal.
