Love the video your yard is so beautiful. FYI I have a long growing season and have to plant my pumpkins in May to have them for Halloween. I would also only put one pumpkin in a planter that size. Plus you should only have one tomato plant in that pot or the roots will be over crowded and your plant will suffer. You can separate them into different pots or then them out. I have learned from a lot of trial and error. Hope this information is helpful ❤cannot wait to see how your plants turn out.

Loving the laid back videos of you just doing the fun and relaxing things. I vote for the green chairs. I know you want them to blend, and they will, but I’m also thinking of what they would look like with snow on the ground and it would be beautiful. And please don’t make apologies for being new to gardening. People have to start somewhere and at some time and have to learn. I’ve been gardening for…ever (25 years maybe) and I still learn, things still mess up or don’t grow or don’t make it. It’s ok. You are doing FABULOUS!!!

Love the diy with the solar water fountain. Just an idea to consider - add it half full with beautiful river rocks! That would do 2 things - provide birds a way to land & not drown & also would keep the fountain from floating around & being off center (not that it looks bad off center but if you like it centered...that would work - and water level high enough to still work the fountain & let birds get a little shower/splash pad 😊

I'm not knocking the pink decor for those who like it but I'm a traditional Halloween girl, the pink cutesy stuff feels true for Valentine's Day but completely doesn't make me happy or feel nostalgic for my Halloweens of childhood. I hope Michael's continues to put out more of the vintage inspired Halloween decor they have had some years in the past, now that will get me to open my wallet- well, at least a little. I've picked up some Halloween things from Costco already so I'm not planning on getting much more. 😊

I'm so glad you explained what you were doing with the pumpkin seeds. 🤣 I was so concerned that they would out grown that little plannter. One year we carved pumpkins outside and just randomly left the seeds and they volunteer the next year, and it was a huge pumpkin patch. It was a pleasant surprise!! 🎃

Only suggestion is to get a trellis for the pumpkins. They need lots of room to vine. Thin out the tomatoes, put one to two per pot w/ a cage. Cucumbers need a trellis too. One per pot. Good luck! You can do it!

I'd go for green chairs. They'd blend in more than the brown. Hopefully your carrots will survive! My boyfriend found out they will die during transplant from some blog. At least seeds are super cheap if they do. I wanted to have a garden this year but getting all of the dirt out of the rocky bed with wierd tarp situation the previous owner had. It's been taking a little bit longer. 90F-100F here in Kansas so my hope is to work on it this september when it cools to prep it for next year. I want it to become a zucchini/yellow squash bed and any other vegetables that'd be good. 😀
