SoCal looks very active! Here in the SF Bay Area it’s a complete ghost town, nothing is open, only some restaurants and grocery stores. Traffic is non existent! It’s so weird!!

Like everywhere else, you can do only take out here. What's funny is that for the first time drive threws are allowing walk ups. Many people do not have cars here and either bus or walk. The drive threws have posted employees outside to prevent people from getting run over while waiting for their food.

As for using what you got…almost all the meat in my local Safeway was gone. There were lots of large chuck roast meat left. So I bought a large chuck chopped it into cubes and split it into thirds. Used 1/3 to make Beef stew (enough for 3-4 days) and still have enough for 2 more large meals. 👍🏼👍🏼

JUST ran across your channel (subscribed). Had to comment to give you a tip on take-out in the Venice area. I grew up in the area in the 50's and 60's, even graduating from Venice High School. You guys HAVE to visit the GREAT WESTERN STEAK & HOAGIE COMPANY - 1720 Lincoln Bl., in Venice - N/E corner at Superba Ave. . Big loaded and HOT hoagie sandwiches. Bring a roll of paper towels if you're going to eat in your vehicle - they get real messy, and their napkins are too small. Hint: Open up the sandwich and let it cool down for 3-5 minutes or so, otherwise you might burn your tongue. Order the Pizza Steak Hoagie with everything. I haven't had one in years, now living up in Oregon...…..mouth is watering just thinking about the place.....

Already been to my local joint twice now for take out. Ed’s Mudville Grill. Spirts bar and Grill. They always had phone orders/take out which I’ve done many times. Now they are only take out. Don’t forget to tip as if you were eating in. 👍🏼👍🏼

It goes without saying that in order to live ones best life you MUST include donuts. I too am a donut conesieur, yet sadly we have no donut shop with large fiberglass donuts to adorn their shops.
