Absolutely loved this series. Had it all on VHS till my video player kicked the bucket and my video cassettes got stolen. Couldn't find the show anywhere for love nor money. Could never understand why they were never put on DVD along with other classic British comedies. Thank you for putting these up. I am forever in your debt.

I only had vague recollections of this series from when I was a kid, deffo remember Jim Davidson, and the boss, but the others no, I thought there was a little guy in this with glasses, perhaps theres another Jim Davidson sitcom I need to find lol! It's great, very 80s, cosy and I love the interactions between Jim and the butler, thanks for putting it up, can't find it anywhere else!

Common to have music playing in the bg in sitcoms back in the 80’s.

For l' eau, meaning water...water closet...a euphemism for toilet. In olden days ppl used to empty their chamberpots out the window and the shout of "garde l' eau" would warn people to watch out for the "water"...fun times!😅
