Good grief Mr. Vernon That is way beyond cool,i would almost bet my last dollar that you could make and Engine out of a lot of things, what a mind.

Excellent job there, I have wanted to build a compressor based engine for years but was planning on using a V twin compressor. It is refreshing to see somebody build something nifty instead of showing different ways to smash things up.

Really enjoyed your video and was inspired to do a similar project from an old compressor a friend gave me. It turned out well and seems to run fine. I used a bicycle chain for a timing chain with a sort of overhead cam arrangement. Your video was a huge help to me, especially the governor. You did a very neat job. Your engine looks good and runs good. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and skill.

Imagine taking off the governor to prevent the engine from missing and when you start it, it goes out of control and starts a new life in Poland

Very interesting, like it! I've been wanting to do this for a while and I've found a fairly large Broom & Wade compressor which I'm going to have a go at converting. How did you make the spacer between the head and barrel? I'm also interested in how you cut the valve seats? Great work, runs well! Cheers, Phill.
