Hello guys, I am sharing a recipe for homemade eggless ladi pav.
In this recipe, pav is baked in the microwave in convection mode.
Do watch the full video and make your own ladi pav which can be served with Pav Bhaji, Missal or Maska :)

@@anitaborse106 hi ma'am...do not keep the bun on the rack... instead you can use aluminium plate in convection mode only to make pav.

I tried it. It turned out nice. Was confused abt the maida quantity and milk and yeast. As on ingredients pic u mentioned 4cups maida. And in video u used 2cups.also milk u used 3/4 cup and on list you showed 1 & 1/2 cup milk. I followed according to your procedure. Used 2cups maida, 3/4cup milk. 3/4spn yeast. It turned out good. Little dark brown on top. I dont kno because i kept in high rack or might be on heat. But it tasted good. But not fluffy like market bread. But altogether receipe is good. Pls share exact amout of ingredients. E. G maida in cups, milk measurement & yeasts quanty. Plsssssss. So that i can try it again😀

Thank you for your comment. I have used 350 gms maida, (we all have different quantities of bowl n cups) hence mentioned in grams. So 350 gms maida, 200ml of milk and 7-10 gms of yeast. If you feel your buns are getting darker try keeping for 15 mins...as all microwave has different settings. Hope this helps. And sorry for confusion.🙏

Can you tell me the exact quantity of ingredients as u mentioned in the start 4 cups of maida but u used 2 cups. I want to make this in 2 days please reply.

350 gms of Maida/plain flour, 200 ml of warm milk.Follow the same process and make sure that the yeast is fermented enough to get the spongy & soft buns.

@@uwu-pq6xz just remember this ratio for the best buns. 2:1. 2 cups maida and 1 cup warm milk , 3/4 tbsp of yeast. This will make approx 9-10 pavs depending on the size.

Is it 4 cup maida or 2 cup?? U have mentioned in the beginning that 4cups. But while doing u have added 2cups only. Which is right recipe!?

In this recipe video I have used round shape 9" tin. Remember proportion in grams rather than cup measurements, and increase or decrease the quantity according to your requirement.

Hi Dr. As I googled your brand, I can see that there is a seperate convection/oven mode. You can try in this mode. Do not bake on grill, micro or any combo mode. Do try and let me know.👍

Hi...yes you can...but the texture will be different and it will be slight chewy.

Beautifully explained but Mam aapke jo ingredients video mein likhe hue dikhaye hai wo ur aapne jo khud video mein bola usme bahut farak hai. Jiase aapne waha pe likha hai 4 cup maida aur aapne 2 cup maide ka dikhaya hai aur 1 tblsp sugar likha hai but aapne 4 tsp jitni sugar dikhayi hai. Except for 3/4 tblsp yeast all r different. Why so? Aur 1 tblsp sahi lag rahi sugar but aapne 4 tsp jitni dikhayi hai. Main actually abhi aapka video dekhke banane ja rahi thi but ab Confusion hai, Plz clear kijiye.

Hi...I appreciate your reply. Maine yaha par 350 gms Maida liya hai....aur 200 ml milk. Ladi Pav banane ke liye maida aur milk ka proportion important hai. Sugar aap 1 tbsp le sakte hai...isse pav halke mithe banenge aur yeast activation me help hoga. Sorry for the confusion 🙏.

My samsung microwave is of 800 watts. You can try keeping it for 15 mins on convection mode.

Cover the top with aluminium foil to stop more browning from top and bake for few more minutes.

May be it needs more time to cook in your microwave. Try baking it for 2-3 mins more.

If required you can add milk. Make sure to add warm milk.

Yes you can...but make sure you check it in between as in taller rack you get more heat on the upper side of pav and less at the bottom. Try going for shorter one as I used. Thank you. Hope this answer help..I tried myself today and again replied to you. It might turn more brown.

If the pav turned hard..it's means the yeast was not fermented enough and the dough didn't rise because of it.

You can keep it in an air tight container once it cool down completely.

I tried lot time to make bun but I never have like this.. what I meant is I won't get brown color in top of the bun .. thn I will get hard bun only. Thank you for your question. You have to keep it on convection mode only. Do not try on micro+convection mode. Do brush milk on your buns before placing it in microwave. Also do not forget to preheat your microwave before baking buns. So you have to initially select convection mode > 200° > 20 minutes. But if your feel your buns get burnt, try keeping it for 15 minutes. As all microwave has different settings. After 20 minutes when your microwave beeps, do not immediately open the door. Let it rest until the fan inside microwave stops spinning. In my microwave it takes 3 more minutes for microwave to stop completely. After you remove the buns make sure you brush enough butter on buns and cover it with wet cloth for atleast 20 minutes. I hope this reply will help you. Thank you.

You can use steel stand in convection mode only.

It's because I have a setting in my microwave...you can preheat on a convection mode as well.

I will try this now. Let's see how it goes. Update: I followed your recipe as it is and my pavs are too dense and heavy. They are soft but dense and heavy. I checked your video again to see if I went wrong anywhere. But I realised those pavs are dense too. Only softness is not the quality of good breads. Not my fav recipe. Nor will I follow it again. No offence ma'am. I respect your efforts and channel. :) Just my opinion and experience with the recipe. P.S. I ain't a amateur cook either. So I can judge and decide things for myself.

What is convention type?I have a oven with only temperature, time and fan settings and heat direction.

Ma'am I have used microwave hence I have mentioned convection mode for baking. For oven or OTG the baking settings may differ.

You can use curd and eno...but the texture and softness won't be same. Try using yeast once you will make out the difference.👍
