Congratulations, excellent work! Could you please post a video or photos of the construction details, for example: fixing the cables and pulleys?

What a great DIY project. I liked the seat, there are some clamp on rowing units for paddleboards online, and they want a small fortune for them, this is a good way to make your own. The lightweight is impressive too. Thumbs up.😎👌

I like the design. I went 15 mins on mine and they had to put me back together with bubble gum and hope.

Did you make yours?
@kricem Жыл бұрын
@@marmac567 yes I did. I have the 24 inch wheel of death which leaves me pretty knackered.
@marmac567 Жыл бұрын
@@kricem have you got a video of it on here?
@kricem Жыл бұрын
@@marmac567 no I don't. I wish I documented the process though. I had to improvise the pulleys with bicycle front wheel hubs and they work a treat.

Thank you very much for the information, I will watch the recommended video. Please, what kind of rubber band did you use to move the rowing machine?
@marmac567 Жыл бұрын
The rubber is unimportant, use anything you can get

Hi Martin, thank you for the great video. What a nice project. I am interesting in building something similar. Do you have any photographs of the build's progression which could be helpful? As it's all painted and reinforced with fibreglass (which looks ace btw) it's hard to tell what is plywood, real wood, where the joins are, how the vanes are attached etc. I'm sure I can work it out but any help along the way would be greatly appreciated :-) Thank you kindly, Pip.

I may have a couple pics of early stages,, its basicaly all solid wood boards + bits of broomstick,, apart from the ply footboard and a gusset or two. The vanes are 4mm ply , wedged into spokes and lightly glassed. I can see you are a woodworker so you will not have a problem,, its very basic stuff.
