Channa pulao
INGREDIENTS
1 onion
1 tomatoe
1 tbspn ginger garlic paste
3 cups rice
1 chickpeas can (or) 1 cup chickpeas
3 tbsp oil
METHOD
Chop one onion and heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Once the onion turns slightly brown, add all the spices, then add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes. Next, add tomatoes, followed by the chickpeas, and cook until the oil separates. Then, add rice in proportion to the water, and once the rice starts cooking and the water dries up, cover and steam it.
