Ive wanted to be Martin since the age of 13. Im now 53. I still want to be Martin. He is a musical genius. Im going to see DM for the first time in December this year with my 11year old daughter. I already know Im going to cry. Im 6'3 275 but they are that link that takes me back to being a child in the 80's and listening to their music as I kept getting older and moving through life. So many great memories from the 80's revolved around music. I wish I could time travel back with my daughter and show her a time when people seemed happier and there wasnt divisiveness.

in 2001, I traveled from Helsinki to St. Petersburg, Russia. It was an amazing concert. But what struck me was the Russian people. How much they love Depeche Mode. And what an amazing attitude Russians have towards people, no matter what country you come from. Russians are humiliated everywhere. And I think Russians are the last chance for humanity. Pure of heart and soul people.

Because everyone is telling theire story how they discovered DM: I don't remember a time where my dad didn't play theire music loudly in our living room. I was dancing to these songs at home since I was born. I'm now 24, almost 25 and we still go to theire concerts as a whole family I now even take my partner with me for the first time next year. @@johnj28 regarding the silence regulations in Europe the concerts should finish by 11:00 PM, so if they play 2:15 minutes they should start at around 8:30 PM. And at that time there are still daylight in the european cities. And also an important point is, that the last trains and metros are leaving around at 11:30 PM in most of the european cities, so the audience should catch them if they want to get home.
