While watching this movie, I thought it was ironic to have Santa fight his clone similar to Buzz lightyear fighting against the utility belt version of himself in Toy story 2. Both film series staring Tim Allen

Merry Christmas Eve Eve Garrett. Out of all the Santa Clause’s I would say the 2nd one is my favorite.

I’m gonna probably copy a bit from my reply on your Letterboxd review, but basically you felt that same way that I felt about Santa Clause 2. In that reply I made, I assumed that the reason they would focus more on the slapstick stuff was because this is a “G” rated film and that demographic of films is mostly focused on children’s content and children wouldn’t be interested in romantic comedies. But even with that in mind, Pixar & Disney is the primary demographic in this category, so I'm personally surprised they didn’t write a better script that focused on that aspect of the film. Also, I do agree with you and the fact that Toy Santa (which is Fake Santa) has freaky makeup work. The shot of his a** primarily was the most freaky for me, not just because it unsettles me for some reason, but for me, that was just not funny. HMR for 2024 was really big, and I genuinely liked that fact. Kipper HMR was really enjoyable (despite the fact that I didn’t comment on those, oddly enough), and HMR S6 was overall really fun… I’m definitely excited to see it evolve as you get married and move houses! That’s definitely an exciting thing to go through and I congratulate you for it. Ever since I decided to expand the HMR spreadshee to include Thomas HMR & Kipper HMR, I personally feel curious to see the next season of T&FHMR and see the next season of HMR… and what its theme will be.. something senses it will be a comedy theme but I can’t quite tell yet. It could be a drama season for all I know. Hopefully, I can get this done before the 10th anniversary of HMR, but nonetheless, I’m excited to see what’s next for HMR in 2025 and how it’ll turn out! :D
