My cat use to do that all the time. She use to get on my lap or on my keyboard when I was either studying or playing games online. She'd always wake up on my bed half asleep and stare at me for a moment to see whether I was studying or playing video games. It was always when I was studying she would distract me and just casually demand attention. I do miss her,. Feels abit lonely when I'm on my computer now.

I like how you make sure your best animal friends both get nice attention! I think that “mrrrrpt” sound Minnie makes is a combination of a purr and a meow, which cats make when they are hopping up to greet the humans they love. My cat used to make the same sound when he hopped onto the bed or a chair with me. It doesn’t seem to have a human equivalent, but it’s DEFINITELY a happy sound!
