I wash produce as effectively and easily as I can and I do it exactly like you! I’ve done it for many many years and has worked great so I’m sure you will have the same results. I love your content, creative filming which is so easy to watch, music, and your attention to details❤️. I wouldn’t change anything. I look forward to all your videos. Keep up the good work. It is very much appreciated.

Don't worry about other people. Sinks were designed to clean things. When I was growing up, I always cleaned the sink after doing the dishes with Soft Scrub. It indicated the kitchen was closed for the night in our family. We didn't use the term "deep clean" it was either clean or dirty. Now, in my own home I use baking soda and castile soap. I wash my fruits and veggies like you, but add a paper towel to collect moisture. High - my work event went really well. It was alot of work and received great comments on my presentation. Low - still haven't finished unpacking/organizing the house. Thank you from a former Hoosier. You're doing a great job! 👍🏼

I have six kids and I do a weekly reset and restock every Sunday. I do the same thing with our produce, because it just makes it so much easier with the kids, and it makes it more likely that they will choose something healthy if it’s ready to just grab. Sometimes the kids help me make a veggie did and cut up veggies for a “veggie and salad” tray too. Anything you can do to streamline the process is gold when you are a parent.

First, you're amazing! Don't overthink the anxiety. If you need to continue your meds, don't worry about it. I've been through the same thing, baby girl and host of illnesses caused me anxiety and depression. It took a minute, but I got off my medications. But don't let the world control your thought process. Do what you need for yourself and family 😊

I love your restock videos. My high for the week was that I finally had time to clean and Scotch guard my dining room chairs that have fabric seating that was so over due, also my oldest son just got himself dressed and made breakfast for himself and his little brother without making a mess while mum and dad had a little sleep in today. That's like huge in my books, oh the other high is that I finally got my piano brought to my house from my in laws where it was being stored and it's not too badly out of tune. Lows for the week are that I miss my daughter while she's having fun sleep overs at her grandparents the last couple of nights and I've been feeling pretty sore this week with sore muscles and had some trouble sleeping with kids climbing in my bed and some really wired dreams waking me up in the middle of the night.

I had to take wallpaper off in my bedroom when I was decorating it. What I found works like a boss in taking stubborn wallpaper off is using hot water and fabric softener mixed together. When you take the outer layer of paper off, then saturate the remaining paper with this mixture and let it sit, then use a scrapper to remove the rest. I found it worked extremely well.

I had to laugh. I grew up in a wallpaper/paint business in the 1970/80s. Warm to hot water and fabric softener was what we always recommended to customers to remove wallpaper. My mother always equated the water to baby bathwater temperature.

I spent a lot of time with my 4 yo home and my 14 yo as well. No alarms for the week. Lots of rest. Low- I live close to Nashville and we had that shooting. Makes one consider why they teach. I saw that TikTok! Comment sections on there are purposely brutal, since a lot of users haven’t fully developed their frontal lobe, and often creators give commenters attention by responding, or 3rd parties go viral for ready your comment and laughing like it’s a reaction video. TikTok’s biggest issue is that anyone can make content, so everyone on there feel the need to make every interaction some form of content. Glad you took it well! I do this with my sink too, since I clean and disinfect it beforehand, so I know it’s clean.

I love your content so much. I’m always grateful to see your name pop up on my phone. My highs and lows of the week intertwine. High was gathering about a hundred photos of my brother (he passed away in 2015) and my low was forgetting he was gone long enough to pick up the phone to call him then it crashing down and me remembering. It’s been a rough week but I’m grateful to have these photos of him.

This is so sweet. So my high for the week is that I managed to cut the lawn after a few days of dry weather. I was lucky because the next day, it began to pour it down. Hmmmm my low for the week I guess is that I forgot to pack and extra top for the weekend. It's our friend's engagement party, plus a birthday as well. I forgot that it was going to be outdoors and there was an open wood burner so now my clothes are smelling of that. I hate wearing smelly clothes so I'll have to endure it on the journey home and chuck everything in the wash

G'day Carissa - Mate I've been watching you for a few years now and I have a tip (in case you didn't already know) - but your oven door has two metal clips that you can pop up and then jiggle the door off - allows you better access to the back of the oven and you can lift the door up onto bench and remove the glass (if that is an option on your oven) - but this is universal as I can do it on my oven here in Australia xx

I don't clean the fruit and veggie directly in the sink because I don't deep clean the sink every day and because I worry about any chemicals I've used to clean the sink leeching into the food, but I know plenty of people that do clean their fruit and veggies directly in their sink after scrubbing it clean with non-toxic cleaners or essential oils.

How is it different than eating food off of dishes washed in the sink
@agohl85
@agohl85 Жыл бұрын
@@malory1444 I think its a matter of preference. I have health conditions that make me super sensitive to what I ingest so I tend to be a little bit more paranoid about it. Also, I don't usually soak my dishes in my sink before I wash them because I usually use a dishwasher and when I do need to wash a dish by hand I have a metal strainer thing that they sit on (that I clean with non-toxic dish soap) so they aren't usually touching the sink itself - when I do a deep clean on my sink, I have to use special products that are not non-toxic (because of the kind of sink it is) to get the soap cast off and bring back the original finish. Plus I don't think of dishes as being as absorbant as fruit. To each their own though. :)

Well well well, people on the internet ARE mean, especially if they’re being mean to you! I don’t know why humans turn into such meanies when they can be anonymous and hide behind a keyboard. As if you’d wash anything in a dirty sink. And lots of people do the same to prep their fruits and veggies after a big shopping trip. I’m glad we are all nice and you enjoy our company! And you are confident enough to realize it’s THEM, not you! My high point this past week-the sun has finally started coming out and it’s been warm enough to go outside into the garden. I love LOVE Spring. It’s my very favorite season. I love the freshness of it and the flowers and all the baby bird nests, bees buzzing in the pollinator garden. It feels like the earth is coming back to life. But it’s still not too hot! Low point….my husband has been on jury duty this past few weeks and I’m so used to him being around I’ve really missed him! I hope they get through this case soon! Take care Carissa!
