you should do a breakfast nook with a white bench (L Shaped maybe. That way when Uriahs older he ( and other kiddos ;) ) can do homework while you cook or have game nights in that area. Something less formal. across from the bench you can do a play pen for Uriah ( also so he can play while you cook and mount a small TV to the wall so that he can watch his shows and you could also watch TV Like cooking network while you cook or the game if you have to leave the room. Just some thoughts. Your home is beautiful very blessed family :)

.89 cents a square foot for laminate is so good! The cheapest I've found here in Austin, TX is $1.49 a SQF and it was at Sam's Club. I fell in love with flooring at Home Depot but it's still $2.89 SQF. Your floors look great!

MzGlamourAddict So SO soooo true! We closed on our home Nov 2017 and have already done a lot but there’s still so much left to do! I really think it’s exciting to have a large open home, but once you’re in there you find so many blank spaces that need to be brought to life. I’m making more sitting areas than we probably need. 😅 Lol I just see a space so I add chairs- I even got a huge fish tank to take up a wall! We have a finished basement which my hubby is using partly to build his home theater.... but we also have a separate entertaining room in the backyard with its own entry that we just call the “club house” since we don’t have a pool to call it a pool house. ...but I literally have been so focused on the inside of our main house that I barely have a vision for that other place. Girl I know it’s first world issues and I’m truly so grateful for it all... I just need a few more ideas.

JesusIsLoveTR - TRUST.. I understand.. It’s so surreal at times but I wouldn’t have it any other way!.. Coming from a small 912sq ft apartment to 6,890 livable st ft is a huge jump, lol.. Plus we still have an additional 1,200 unfinished to complete. Once that’s done we’ll have 8,090 livable sq ft.. We have so many ideas but agreed on not rushing our journey. CONGRATS on your home!! House looks beautiful. FYI the room near the kitchen is called a keeping room. We are building our new home and that’s what they called it, and the one upstairs outside of our bedroom is where the kids will do homework and watch tv. The basement will be the hubby’s playground. The timeline for building is 9 months, which will work out because we will put our house on the market next month. We break ground April 2nd. Good luck on all the renovations.

It's crazy how paint can make such a drastic change. I'm glad your going to remove the mirrored piece in the formal dining, your right it does t go with the light, but still beautiful. Girl, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, I could tell you, your house in the city I live in would easily go for $1.5 million if not a bit more, no joke. My hubby and I have talked about moving out of state but then we would give up the school district we are in, my son's school and the district overall rates within the top 10% of public schools in the nation. So for now, we are going to suck it up and wait until he graduates HS...in 6 yrs.

I hit the sub button as soon as you said Repose grey. The hubs & are in the last stages of remodeling. U did repose in the main areas, white flour in the bed/baths, egg shell on trim & pure white on the ceilings.... All of this also 6month pregnant.
