We've had a freeze dryer for a few years now. We love using it for fruit. My favorites are strawberries and cherries. It's nice to do some meals as well. Not only for emergencies but because then you can have something home-cooked and healthy on those nights no one feels like cooking. Have fun!

Oh, that freeze fryer is so cool! I didn’t even know those existed. So - what does your family think when they come home and the dining room is now the living room and vice versa? ☺️ Everything looks so cozy! I am so excited for the fall weather. Hi Elizabeth! It's been around in the last few years but it's an investment for sure but I'm glad I waited out the Costco deal. You know those crunchy fruits that are very light weight and kind of fluffy at the snacks section they make it with this method. Ha ha it was just a trial run in the living room to see how loud and it's gonna be in the garage. We have a cold weather now some of the nights go as low as 37F slowly we are tuning in for the winter weather. I hope you are well and your family is doing well! Hugs! 😃🤗❤❤❤

Hi Noemi, a hack you can try for the foil that is hard to remove from your frames is to press one end of a sticky tape on the corner of the foil, pull the other end of the sticky tape and the the foil should follow. Hope it works for you!

Hi sweet Fran! Ha ha Z has been listening it for the last few years that I want that freezer dryer but now he is getting excited for all the food we make preserve with it too! My favorite breakfast is soup. I don't like sweet things in the morning so the soup can balance it out! 😄 I agree I feel the same way about the laundry (if it's not in an insane amount) is quite relaxing to do. Do you ever make pickled turnip? If you cut up a beet and add it to the jar, the turnips will develop a gorgeous pink color! Pickled turnips are delicious. Commonly prepared in Middle East cuisine. 😊

I never used to like cooked cabbage, but now I love it with onion & a couple slices of bacon. I use some of the bacon fat & olive oil to cook it with. Also add a little red wine vinegar for some zip. Lorraine

Your new rug is lovely, I love that scallop edging, and it is perfect next to your sofa. Every time I watch without fail you make me laugh and cheer me up, and today was no different when you started dragging your massive dining table about, but I must admit, when you'd finished your marathon, your home was Gleaming. I also love you sharing your wonderful cooking with us, and love getting new recipe ideas from you. Noemi when drying a jacket in the dryer, zipper the jacket and turn it inside out to dry. It will keep from making the loud noise in the dryer. I had same thing happened to me.
