I have a similar stove. My burners come off and it is easier to clean around them. Mine are two pieces, the black top and the silver part that fits onto the gas burner

Had to chuckle when you said your son showed you how to use the cold foam function - my daughters are my tech support on all gadgets, lol. My DI has the same Bissel spin mop, which I witnessed in action at Christmas, and now I need one too, those things are amazing! Love seeing you roasting your own beans! I haven't attempted that yet, but thanks for the inspo!

I have the same issue with the black ring around my burners. I’ve tried everything the only this that helps is steel wool and elbow grease, or some kind of scraper. This was great motivation! Thanks for sharing! I’ve been eyeing that floor scrubber for my tile but I need something pretty tough our tile Is textured and holds dirt and I have to scrub it on my hands and knees….

If you are looking for something that isn't full of chemicals to clean the stovetop I'd try Norwex cleaning paste. I have a glass top but it's amazing at getting stuff off!

Audrey, after the soap and water on your stove, what kind of spray did you use to cut through the soap? I like using soap and water to get rid of the grease, but I can never get it streak free afterwards-no matter how much I rinse. My stovetop is black and shows every streak. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I also suggest Bar Keepers friend! I clean all my greasy pots and pans with it and they turn out super clean! I’d give it a try on your stove, just might work! You are a busy lady but I love to watch your videos! Good luck to your son in his play!❤️

I had a sourdough starter and that’s all I used it for was the discard. I made one loaf only. I struggle with the time and schedule trying to make a loaf.
