I vote for a perennial border 😊 I live in deer country, and a few that I recommend are: Salvia, Shasta Daisys, Lavender, and Cone Flower. The bees love them! They come back every year, so no need to replant.

i recently saw longlegs! However i don't really think it was as scary as people hype it up tp be. But i did really enjoy it. I've heard people compare it to Hereditary, but personally, i think Hereditary is WAAYYY scarier. But Longlegs was definitely a fun watch and I'd recommend it! (lots of suspense which may add to why people say it's so scary)

we've been doing SO much landscaping this year so far (similar climate - up in Alaska) so it's been fun to watch your journey with it too!! for the fencing I have a few ideas - one of them (the easiest but possibly most expensive) is to leave the long fencing and edge it out with stones. like tuck the fencing under the landscaping stones so the fence is secure. the stone will eventually kill the grass/weeds under it but you could handrip or move the fence and mow it out really quick. for grass removal, all we did was use a shovel to make little squares in the grass and it came up so easy!

Yeah you need to get tomato cages. They I sure your tomatoes are upright and eases how easy it is to find the tomatoes. You can probably find some for sale at the end of the season fur next year. Its too late for this year.

I definitely agree with reducing plastics. Every time I go shopping I try to buy products in glass. This is still hard to find!!! Glass jars can then be turned into candle holders. Hi Fern! Love your " Both Channels " ❤ " You can use Landscape Edging. Its A Heavy Duty material, maybe plastic. You use an Edger and make the edging space/ hole=then slide the Edging in the edging space you made. It goes down so deep and will prevent the grass growing in your garden! You can weed wack the grass that is on the property beside your garden and it really looks great! Neat and Tidy! Ive used this many times in my Flower Beds etc. Get this at Home Depot or anyplace like that. Your Gardens look AMAZING! I love picking a fresh salad from a Garden! Not mine anymore as i moved to an apartment. 😊❤ So my daughters! Lol Get some Rest Fern!❤❤🐾🌿❤️

It’s the Dyson V8, I’ve had it for around 7 years and it still works great! There’s a KZbin video of how to deep clean it that I always follow, basically just taking it all apart and washing it out.

Recently we put netting around our raised beds, they are wood, but you could add a 2x4 along boarder and then staple gun the netting to the underside and perhaps add a rock boarder in the future, so you can weed wack around that and it would look natural ......just an idea. Apparently vanilla watered down in a spray bottle keeps mosquitoes at bay. I put peppermint oil on my wrists and ankles and that helps, but it can make the skin sensitive to the sun too.

You could get the concrete bricks with the two holes (I am not sure what exactly they are called) and then plant flowers in the holes. It would hold down the netting and also look nice and uniform while giving you the ability to weed-eat easily.

I feel like we’re living parallel gardening lives I was kind of shook watching this 😅 I have the same exact crocs and I expanded my garden this year with cardboard + straw (will add mulch in the fall or next spring) and a DIY fence. Though my fence is much shorter just to keep bunnies out 😂 I’m having the same issue with not knowing what to do about the border. Grass and weeds are creeping in and I’m at the point in the year where I’m just accepting it 😂 will be taking advice from these comments tho! ❤

Planning and building your own garden is THE BEST! I wish I had the space you have 🤗Maybe you do it already but wearing gloves in the garden is such a nail/skin saver! You do need to find ones that fit your hands properly because otherwise you don’t have proper touch in your finger tips.

19:22 I feel like I get uneasy on scary movies that seem so realistic or that can really happen. Like abduction, torture… that’s my greatest fear and always has been, I’ve never been deathly afraid of anything as much as that as an adult. Luckily my mom always said if someone kidnapped me they’d release me as soon as I opened my mouth because I’d talk them to death before they got too far. 😂😂 Until one day as a child at Walmart, the lovely smiley face sticker lady that I ALWAYS talked to, noticed me being walked out by a stranger. I think she yelled louder than that poor woman ever has on her life… she saved me. It’s unfortunate we don’t have people like her anymore because I’m sure a lot of abductions could have been stopped. Those old people loved the attention from the kids and recognize who they were AND their parents. ❤ 42:04 one of the main helpful tips I’ve learned with veggie gardening is to make sure to plant and prune the extremely leafy growth properly for an even distribution of sunlight AND to help with pests. The first year I was not careful on growth patterns or pruning so I had bushy covering nonbushy, stoping sunlight which affected the growth, taste and amount of pest damage. ❤

Have you seen how farmers harvest soy beans? And if your BF eats soy related foods, have you looked up how they physically affect his ‘’man components’’? My husband use to eat soy foods and after her found out what it can cause he stopped. It has something to do with Estrogen.

Hey, not sure what you mean about the harvesting methods and can’t find anything online. Sadly, most soy crops are grown for livestock feed (over 77%) and only a small percentage for direct human consumption. Soy contains isoflavones (or phytoestrogen) which are different than human estrogen and the myth of it having negative impact on our hormones has been debunked. They’ve actually found it to be beneficial, protecting against breast & prostate cancer among other health benefits. I watched Longlegs yesterday and it was not as horrifying as the promo makes it seem but it was really good, like a great edge of your seat movie with a unique indie feel. It hooks you in really well with the mystery/true crime plotline and it definitely freaked/creeped me out more than any other movie, but it didn’t like traumatize me lmao. It’s definitely one of my favorite scary movies now. I would for sure recommend it and I’d love to hear your thoughts!! 🫶
