I live in Duluth,Mn, right on Lake Superior, and we get some pretty wicked windy storms in winter. We just had one with gale force winds. The whole house was shaking!!!! AND our very heavy canoe MOVED from laying on its side a long the border of our neighbors yard and ended up laying horizontally in our yard! 😳 I get so scared! Especially when it’s super super cold in the middle of winter! So I really understand your fears!

We bought a house that was built in 1935 & we had …notice I said had…a maple tree and we had had 3 days of rain and the tree couldn’t handle all that water so literally one half of it came down and took out our power line . It landed on a wire and there was so much force it jerked all the wires right out of the base that is on the outside of the house. The power company came and shut all our power off because the live wires were laying in our yard. We had to get the whole base replaced plus the fuse box that is in the basement before power company would turn our power back on. Thank God we have a generator that runs on natural gas. That thing kept our fridge, microwave and our well pump going for a week because that’s how long it took to get everything replaced and fixed and on top of all of that, we had this old gigantic tree we had to clean up… that was a nightmare….. again so blessed and thankful for some people we have in our Sunday School class that were able to drop all their plans and come help us that day…..about 6 or so months later we had to get the rest of that tree taken out which made me sad….now we have this pecan tree that is behind our house and most of one side was hanging right over our deck and house…. Every time it rains and the wind blows ,I’m so scared….

I would have been so scared during the cyclone too. I hate storms and I feel your anxiety but I especially feel your excitement because of the Eras Tour!!! I was so lucky to see her in Munich Night 2 and it was one of the best things I have experienced!!

Better get a whole house generator. They aren’t cheap either!

I have the WORST anxiety during storms. I’m deathly terrified of tornadoes and large storms scare the bejezzuz out of me. It doesn’t help that hubbys family lives in a tornado prone area. I felt this anxiety to my core.

I'm with you on anxiety brain. I live in South Florida and we have scary freaking wind from hurricanes. We got a direct hit approximately 20 hrs ago and a tree did fall on our house 😮😮😢😢. So now every hurricane warning freaks me out. PTSD anxiety 😫😫😫

I hope they are simpler in english though xD xD I'm rarely in mood to read such a heavy book, so I borrowed one and give up on it, my lease ended I had to give it back to the library. I'm sorry about your camera! If you have a warranty, you could have gotten it repaired. I think most tech has a 1 year warranty. But I hope the new camera works out well 😊 def try and repair it anyways to have it as a backup.
