I don't know why but listening to this makes me all teary eyed. Reminds me of the time where I would actually surf the internet because everyone had a personalized website for themselves. Hell, even Smosh had a website that was actually really popular. I don't like being that guy who says "facebook bad" but social media has stripped away the sense of identity off of the internet. I miss when it was created by individuals for others who had the same interests and just wanted to connect. Good job man you are a good musician.

Jacal sir, this is a mix of two things that made a powerful impact in my life. Ive always had this song as some sort of spiritual checkpoint for me. I always felt like ive ever knew it in a deep spiritual level, no idea why. Im not a spiritual person you see, but the sound of it just made me feel a state close to what id say is nirvana. It reminded me of my dremas as a child of the abstract paintings my dad made and had hanged around the house. It would transport me there. The second connection this cover made in my mind is of This Will Destroy You, a group i lostened to a lot when i feel deep into a depressive state, and that sounds quite a lot like this cover does. I spent three years in a terrible mindspace, went totally nihilistic and existential at some point, but the few things that kept me feeling emotions were food and this group's music. It was an anchor for me to say the least, cuz it literallt kept me alive, i wont go into detail about this. This cover really put together these two things, it sounds magical, nostalgic, melancholic and healing, and im left here, tearing up over how beautiful this sounds. ❤

Awesome cover. I actually have a feeling HOME would really like it, if they heard it, because they take a lot of inspiration from songs like this. One example that comes to mind is "Flood" by HOME, which was released around the same time as Resonance, but has never gained the massive stardom that the latter has. Flood, however, is essentially the opposite of this cover. It's originally a pop rock song (Kiss Me - Sixpence None The Richer) turned into a sythnwave song. Really beautiful work from both of you, I love to see transformations like this
