because he uses the most sublime chords in a diatonic major sequence, usually. this song is based off of 4, 5 and 6 4 and five are relative to 2 and 1 which is these chords are included in a song (2, 4 and 6) the song will be very catchy by default
@arachnerd44938 жыл бұрын
What a nice explanation!
@ctrainbeats8 жыл бұрын
could you elaborate on this? i've only just been reading about music theory, the chapter that had "diatonic" stuff in it was a bit confusing but its not entirely lost on me; when you say 4, 5, and 6 what does that mean? trying to learn from people that know music well
@GiancarloXmusic8 жыл бұрын
the numbers are the chord's position in a scale... diatonic is a type of scale... in the C MAJOR diatonic scale it's technically all the white keys on a piano, and the numbers represent the root note of each chord and it's position or "interval" as it's called. the 4th note in the c major scale for instance is F, making F the 4, G would be the 5, and A would be 6... and so on....

It's lonely. This song seems to make people happy but for some reason it does not do the same for me. Not that it's a bad song; it's just that it's sort of happiness is too bittersweet to me, weighing toward the sad. It's nostalgia that makes you remember that you can't go back, or that you were happy while your family was poor. That sort of feeling.
@DonnieDarko17 жыл бұрын
CM Don't worry, it's a fair and accurate description, the residual effect that you describe is quite appropriate and shared by others. If you read comments in other uploads, you'll see you're not alone. I know it's not much but I hope that helps a bit.

This song reminds me of the song that would play from a box attached to my Christmas lights when I was a kid. Oh man great times, I love the times as a little kid, not that growing up sucks but I was so much happier back then. I didn't need a whole lot to truly be happy back then. Edit: Hi guys i wrote this comment 2 years ago and muted it because of the notifications. To give an update on myself, I've changed from when i wrote that comment and I'm much happier, i still have a long way to go in life, but i lost that cloud looming over my head and even found God. My dad’s constantly moving around for job opportunities, and that being said, he usually rolls around the tele looking for anything seemingly interesting because of his free time. Today, I showed him this song and he was considering the possibility that this was from the PBS station because of the backgrounds or something. I really liked that idea because it reminded me of the peak of my childhood, which was bumbling around Sesame Street on PBS Kids. I finally knew what to align this aesthetic nostalgia with.

I heard this song during the last couple of weeks before my brother passed away form a brain tumor stage 4. We both said it made us feel nostalgic...but our nostalgia was a trip down memory lane where we enjoyed strolling down again. except, i still have more e road to go....he had a dead end. it's bittersweet then...its bittersweet now.

This song is flying down the high way at 3 am in an 80's themed cyber punk vaporwave utopia with your friends in a delorian with the top down and the wind in your hair. The night is still young we all say as we come to a slow down to take an off ramp. We could still drive by the beach and look out. And that's what we will do, here we are at the apex of our lives and having the time of our lives. "Hop in man" your friends say as they get back in and plan to blast the radio into the wee hours of the morning and pass out at the house in complete bliss.
