That feeling when a song reminds you of something beautiful, like a memory from your past, but you can't for the life of you remember what it is... it's like the memory doesn't exist...

Alternate timelines and realities, homie. Joe Rogan and Tom Delong went on a tangent that what if when you're dreaming, you're actually experiencing things in an alternative reality and vice versa? And the concept of time as we know it also doesn't apply.

The SIGNAL was lost so you can't connect with the memory.
@brandononeil61295 жыл бұрын
past generational emotion, if its strong enough it generates momentum of sorts in the genetic code. you feel these memories, but this current rendition des not have the pasts nervous system, thus there is no easily accessible memory unless you go under hypnosis where your biases are being lowered in order to create a clearer albeit still incomplete picture or memory. these are ghosts of our lineage, our familial karmic debt. its sort of like having your shackles shackled, and though you get one set, there is an ever larger more intricate shackle that seems irrelevant due to the more immediate shackle. basically you free yourself from your planet but youre still limited by how fast your host star is moving which is limited by how fast space is distorting which is limited by how fast the galaxies move closer or farther from eachother and so on. the memory is only disembodied and relative as much as you give attention to your senses/emotions, as those form your perceptions which are your senses. this is what people talk abut when they talk abut being 4th or 5th dimensional, its just a much wide scope of information gathering at once/ie stretched over "time" being in several places at once. I could go n but that's the jist of this wonder thought you had

I had to stop listening to Home's songs for a while as many of them had some emotional connotations that were difficult, but as of recent of let the longs take new meaning, and it feels weird that despite these songs feeling like they came from the far future, and inspiring the feeling of a long lost era, they've ended up being the defining songs of my early adult years.

This song for some reason reminds me of a time i was on holiday.It was incredibly windy and was raining pretty hard. Me and my family stayed in a small, but modern house which was pretty high up and overlooked the ocean. At the back of the house there was a huge glass wall overlooking the water. I sat there for quite a while just watching these huge trees just flap helplessly in the wind and the waves crash onto the rocks. No idea why
