Watching the little kids make breakfast really makes me realise how grown up they are now! Trey hadn't even started school when I started watching, and I'm pretty sure Kason and Anaveah had just gone into kindergarten.

Trade schools are wonderful too!! My son never went to college. Hell he didn't even finish high school. He is now a Tire specialist who made $135,000 last year!! He absolutely loves what he does!!❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤

Saw something about it once on 2020 and many of the people featured had degrees but could find nothing on their specialty and many ended up working at restaurants and the like to make ends meet

I think that you and Jared have done an excellent job in getting your children involved with various house chores. Helping in the household should be normalised. Too many adults out there do not know how to take care of themselves and how to figure things out, because their parents have been doing everything for them. And after a certain age, why should the parents - most often the mother - who may already have a full time job, have a second job of doing everything in the household?

Unsolicited advice: Addie&Aubrey (and even Brinley/Anaveah?) should join the school Drama Club. Helps them to easily make new friends/all in the group have common interests. Further enhance their already good speaking skills. Really explore-experience acting/improve on-screen presence.

I think a fun way for your family dinners to be different, you can have the kids learn about different international cuisines/foods and have them try to cook something from a different culture to not only learn about different cultures but to explore new foods and flavors. Like one night someone makes something Chinese, Mexican, Indian, etc… you get the point! Those would be some fun videos to watch!

This brings back memories of my mom teaching me to cook as a kid. I remember my aunt came over and my mom told her that I could cook her some lunch if she was hungry and she fully expected like a microwaved pizza or something simple like nachos, but I made her grilled salmon, mash, and roasted mixed vegetables and some homemade sorbet I'd made earlier. I will never forget the look of absolute shock on her face when she walked into the kitchen and saw this little kid with this gourmet meal for her. She took pictures, she called everyone and told them about her niece, "the chef," and even though I am totally grown now, she still brings it up on occasion. It is truly a happy happy memory and a skill I've used to impress many a time.

Personally as a high schooler doing online my solution to not leaving the house a lot is doing dance classes. I’ve found that doing school online leaves me more mental and physical energy to do the social things I want to do.

Listening to Addison reminds me so much of my daughter. For years she called her siblings brother, sissy and other sister . Trying to teach her their names was impossible. How is Addison with coins.? My daughter could never remember the value of each coin. Now she 17 and her first job was actually a cashier and she finally figured it all out but struggles to count change.😊 Video idea

Don't forget to get the 'Every kid in the park' pass for your 4th graders (Anevaeh and Cason), it can be used for the family too, We did this and planned a road trip to see different things that 4th graders study, hoover dam, 4 corners and the Mesa Verdes, (that was our favorite). The kids loved actually seeing the places in person instead of just in books. Lots of places to go explore.

In fact, it is the best to keep in mind that the name "Middles" doesn't refer to a school grade. It originally refers to the adopted sibling group(s)in the "middle" to fill the age gap between Kylie and Landon. But they adopted soon kids younger than Landon 😊 So I try to remember them by name and age. Tbh, I struggle the most with the ages of the moved out!

How kind of the youngest kids to make and vlog breakfast for the family! I love this kind of spontaneous vlog with twists and spoilers. BTS is often better than scripted footage. Talking about the names and ages, I realized that the only OG Middles in the house are Jacob and Aubrey. All the others are younger than Landon. It would be so fun to make short collages of f.e.birthdays of each child to see their growth. I recently re-watched all Mason 's birthday vlogs. Fun and informative. When I started watching(2016/17) this family, Landon was a funny, lively and playful child. Not shy or introverted at all. He was really fun to watch in the videos. I am happy he is less camera shy again and see him interact more often. From the little ones, Kason was the most shy. His confidence in this vlog shows how much that changed. I love to watch the old vlogs, I recommend full heartedly.
