Aww Willows wee face . Happy Birthday to her. My Tilly was 7 on the 7th August. She loves presents but not half as much as our last Jack Russell Molly who absolutely knew it was her Birthday and we had to give her presents and balloons which she burst in record time. Tilly loves cuddly toys and Molly loved squeaky toys. They all different. So cute to see Willow open her gifts. x

If all 3 relatives are named as executors then all 3 have to agree and sign paperework. My sister & I had to sign everything when my Dad died as we were both registered as executors in Dads will. We live in opposite parts of the country so paperwork had to be posted! We also had to deal with the paying the £100,000 Inheritance tax bill. Absolutely solicitors will not do anything if the names/details are spelt wrong! Everything will have to be changed. Even if theres no chain you still have to wait for the Councils to colate & provide info for the searches. So 12 weeks is usually the very quickest!

Hiya Linda, Im assuming no will was in place which is why it was in probate. The fear is that the delay causes issues for our buyer so we are putting contingencies in place, somewhere to rent etc. and OUCH that tax bill you had - that is so not fair! We work all our lives, save up for our children and the tax man turns up. So so unfair, I feel for you. Just hoping our end the solicitors can get it done and check spelling! I had a load more questions come through today so working my way through all that before bed so its done. exhausting, especially when Im asked for things I dont have 😬🫤🤣 Ah well, what will be will be ❤️❤️

The ice pop can refreeze. Eat the the milk lollies if good for health to do so. Look at the date for those entrees you obviously are not going to try. They might be expired. If you are not going to eat it please toss it. It’s not a tin item you can donate to a pantry. Given health issues the sodium is too much in those things anyway. You have to think on yourself and your health as well. Have the quorn with peas and chips. Or toss the quorn. It was a mistake. Have the veg with the salmon. Toss the pie you did not like. It’s probably bad date anyway. Have the sausage with peas and corn. Write up what you each can and want to eat and should eat/will eat for 2 weeks. Include fish 2x a week. Then fill your freezer with that. Don’t try new pies and new entrees until you have been in your new house a few weeks. Obviously just after moving into the new house you can buy the sausage he likes. Some salmon. Salmon is on the top of every single ‘eat this if you have cancer, heart, diabetes lists’. Not a penny more will be added or taken away from your bank account if you toss something. So just toss it so you can stop thinking about it. You will have the decision about the pie to keep or toss you didn’t care for again the next time you are in the freezer. And again until it’s tossed. Once you toss it you can stop feeling guilty about not liking it enough to eat it. Sing Let It Go from Frozen if it helps. When you have the meals from the freezer try and add a fresh item on the plate. Like cherry tomato or cucumber slices or dark green leafy salad. So it feels less like a clean out the freezer meal. If you find carrots live in the freezer too long maybe it’s cause they are the least appetizing option. You would rather have fresh and carrots last a long time in the fridge. So just buy the peas and corn frozen. Better than can which has sodium, and you can’t portion out what you want like the frozen. And the frozen is blanched not cooked to death like the can. If you have three drawers make one convenience foods like the chips bag and ice cream, another drawer for meat and fish and another for veg? Maybe you need space for ice packs for caregiving? Delivery is greatly available but sometimes you just want to grab something to defrost and not think about it too much. Keep it really simple. My husband at 55 good health just bad genes just had a heart attack 3 weeks ago. He is fine now. We already had allergies in the house and our son is on spectrum so food is challenging for him. I just had to forget we have a salt shaker among other things. I have butter that will never be used again. There is some in there my son can eat like nuggets and pizza. But I have taken my husbands diet mostly on as well for support. Beef is a problem. I’m unsure of a particular cut of pork. You never know when you will have to eat differently. I have bags for the food pantry of the soups and sauces and sugary cereals we just should not do anymore. But the frozen stuff I can’t do anything but eat it or toss it or let my son have it. I may offer a neighbor my frozen unopened butter? I just remembered 2 frozen entrees I have hidden under the fish I have to toss. I sorted out which shelf gets apples and which gets Greek yogurt in the fridge. The cheese in the freezer moved to my sons shelf. What is interesting is I noticed our food waste has gone down these last 3 weeks. We are finishing the bag of apples and bag of carrots. Very little cooked getting tossed. Not perfect yet. Makes up for the off limits food I had to pitch into the trash. I have lost weight, a bonus cause it was needed. Until you move buy potatoes and onions and carrots one or two at a time loose. Don’t buy the big bags of them. If you make salmon tonight make a second for lunch on Tuesday. Only buy the rice you both eat. It only keeps a few days in the fridge. You are just dirting a container if you won’t get to finishing.

Wow, thank you so much, you have really thought this through, its good to know Im not alone when it comes to sorting through food stuff. I will definitely take advice. Once we move it will be easier as I will be starting from scratch and buying healthy. Hope I lose weight too, thats certainly a bonus. Im so sorry to hear about your husband, I hope hes on the mend❤️, so stressful for you. I need to be be more mindful of both Mikes health and mine moving forward and certainly eat much more vegetables. Mike is a fussy eater so I'm on mission to learn some new cooking skills and see if I can find meals he likes that dont involve pie or sausage 😬🤣 I have started shopping daily for our needs rather than a big weekly shop so I am only buying what we need for the day, it seems to be working and havent thrown or wasted food 😊❤️❤️

Happy Birthday to Willow 🦴 I hope the move continues to progress in a timely manner. We recently bought a house in the UK and were advised to get a level 3 survey as the house was more than 10 years old. Is there a reason you choose a level 2?.
@cheryllifeat50
@cheryllifeat50 3 ай бұрын
Hi Sarah, yes we were advised level 2 was sufficient for our type of property and Level 3 is for complex buildings such as listed or large altered buildings. For our big family house back in 2016 we had a level 3 and it was certainly needed as there were lots of potential issues and it was listed with extensions and flat roofs but for the one we are buying now its fairly straight forward and of good build. Hope that helps. Hope all goes well for you, welcome to the UK if you are new here! ❤️❤️❤️

@@cheryllifeat50 that makes sense. We are dual citizens between the US and UK. We decided we would like a home in the UK for when we visit family. It has been fun to set up a new home without the stress of selling and moving at the same time.
