Algorithm bump. Good tips, the ways of treating and, vitally, conserving water you demonstrated could be lifesavers. Something small of my own to add, for both in and outdoor, to maximise fuel efficiency and minimise time exposed, is using the humble thermos flask. An oft-overlooked flame extender 😁

Mick a idea for you if you will while you are going to be posting from inside etc a chat about Coms nothing over the top. Basic stuff like Walkie Talkies etc what maybe the civies use as would be a great thing to carry when in a group and something i know nothing about nowadays 🙏

There is some Great information there ,but most people won’t even give it a second thought, until they are in a situation where they have no water or heating or electric and the list goes on ,or even end up in a survival situation at home, it does happen. last year we had a big water pipe burst, which took out a massive area which lasted for five days ,people were queueing for hours in the rain at times. luckily we had enough water to get through the situation which I have put aside ,that’s just one example . By simply making an effort with few changes can make a big difference when a situation occurs, why wouldn’t you?😊
