LOL, Herlings can beat Prado in a side by side start any day of the week. I judge how good Prado is by his performance in the Supercross in the US, vs Herlings races in the US; night and day.
@iFuriiOG5 ай бұрын
Herlings raced on US Nationals, that's still motocross, the discipline he is used to, Prado on the other side ditched motocross to try supercross, and he went straight to the big league, racing against the biggest names of the supercross panorama. If Prado did as Herlings, and raced on US Nationals, he would beat them all with ease, he is the MXGP champion, arguably the best mx rider in the world at the moment. It's not fair to compare Herlings' results with Prado's when they raced on two completely different dirt bike disciplines. It's like comparing Richie McCaw to Tom Brady, although they seem to be similar, rugby and american football are completely different sports.

@@iFuriiOG Herlings raced Supercross too, and did great. He learned in one race.
@iFuriiOG5 ай бұрын
@@thomaswayneward Yeah but he didn't race against the best supercross riders in the world like Prado did, he basically faced other MXGP riders like Gajser or Febvre, Prado face Barcia, Tomac, Cianciarulo, Webb... Those guys are built for supercross, and Prado even managed to win a heat against them
@thomaswayneward5 ай бұрын
@@iFuriiOG I don't know what world you live in but I guess it is not the same world the rest of us live in. Herlings raced in a normal indoor Supercross race against everyone that was any good, including Tomac, Barcia, etc. He started at the back of the pack, but by the end had passed everyone but Tomac and he was gaining rapidly on Tomac.
@iFuriiOG5 ай бұрын
@@thomaswayneward I don't know what race are you talking about, I doubt that race even existed. The times Herlings was competitive against Tomac, was on AMA Motocross, when he made a huge come back and 2 out of 2 heats at Ironman 2017. Herlings never was competitive on Supercross, in fact, he never raced on any official AMA Supercross races like Prado did, the time he raced on supercross was on SMX Cup, and he faced other MXGP riders like I said. The race you are talking about definetly was not supercross, Herlings is winning 7-1 against Tomac, all those races were motocross, which demonstrates Herlings is a better MX rider than any american rider. But the same applies for Prado or Gajser, MXGP riders are on a whole differente level when it's about motocross, but on supercross, Prado showed competitiveness against the best, whilst Herlings tried to start a supercross career and went back to MXGP after a harsh reality check.

Herlings is still a chance to win the 2024 Championship. He’s found his race speed, just went 1-1 in Lombok and is only 51 points behind Gajser with 8 races to go. 6 months ago I said Jett was the fastest man in MX… now with Herlings back, I’m not so sure.

Jeffrey should have been racing AMA already. Racking up injuries in MXGP, prob too old to want to learn Supercross. Just come race American outdoor nationals before you retire.

@LeifTriumph Yes, dominating Prado and winning every race would have him in top five or top ten. Deegan is one whether you're counting to five or ten. It's pretty basic math.
