one thing you could probably add is maybe a mini fridge for drinks? would be really nice.....if you don't want it in the open in the room then you could put into the wall or something discreetly.

Nice set up very Clean Look. Simple is better I learned over the years.. Epson 5030ub . Time to upgrade to 4k. I have a Panasonic PT AE4000 that I have had in my theater room or 8 years. Still going strong. I would like to upgrade my system to 4k and Dolby Atmos but waiting on my 4k Rentals to come out as I dont want to buy all the 4K blurays.

nice finish construction. but with that kind of space. i will put some hard effort to enhance the equipment gear. first of all try to go with. if i was you, are the way to go * go with separates (pre amp, and amps) marantz or emotiva. * low the height of the surround. at the level of the ears, since you have two differents level on each row. * put 2 front full range loud speaker in biamping and center as well. like klipsch or paradigm towers * definetly without hearing by the space you have on such room size, you should afford a bigger subs and minimum 2 units (optimum 4).

what I have works pretty good for this room. I think all the equipment you named would have at least tripled the money spent.

Massive amount of Bass can be had fairly cheaply if you have basic woodworking skills, wood glue and some clamps. Go to Parts-Express dot com and look up the Dayton Audio 15'' Reference Subwoofer Cabinet Bundle, its just shy of $270 and you can paint it with black duratex for a nice finish. Then go to Amazon and get a Behringer iNuke NU1000 amp, they are about $125 and it can drive 2 sub units at 300W. So if you get two 15'' sub packs and the amp for about $700 with paint etc you will have enough bass to crush that room and blow away any commercial sub system costing 4x more.

I agree, a room like this needs some bigger gear. I am a Klipsch fan myself and usually with them you dont need separate amps unless you are running RF7-II's which are notorious for dipping to 4 ohm and killing receivers. Even some older KG 5.5s with new ti Diaphragms and a KV-3 Center in the front will be a big improvement for less than $400 if you play your cards right.

Great review! You did a great job on your home theater room. I liked the "accidental panel" that you had to put in to cover the outlet for the LED strip. It works like a focal point and it actually looks nice. Who crafted the white panels behind the sconces? Thanks for sharing!

nice layout. those theater chairs are nice but all of them are made with bonded leather. so over time it will start to peel. other than that it looks good.

JOKER 1170 size of the soon is 13x19 and I had a friend do the electric my cousin do the components and another friend built the room. I swept and took measurements every day. Lol
