Positives and constructive criticism: I love the color contrast of the black accent walls and trim throughout the basement to break up the monotony of the white. The gold colored hardware and fixtures give it a designer feel. You guys do a great job with the layout! The mud room location, hidden utility entrance, and secret door are awesome! Your use of French doors to include functional spaces for the kids or the gym are second to none. I wish you’d come to Chicago and not just work in the NJ area 😤 There’s not much to critique, however, as someone who has a Mancave himself and does plenty of entertaining, I have a heightened sense for details when it comes to home improvement. If I may say so, your basements generally underutilize display space for a liquor collection in your bar shelves. Most people I know that have the extra money to have someone put this kind of high end space in their basement, also spend plenty of 💰 on lots of expensive whisky, bourbon, and Scotch, etc. Where do your clients put that? The other thing I wish you’d focus on more in your videos is how you pimped out the home theatre room? Brands and what models you use. People go crazy for that stuff! What about square footage of this basement, ceiling height, how long it took to complete this project, and maybe a ballpark range for the overall expense? Please continue making these videos. I greatly enjoy watching them 👍🏻

You nailed it. I always think the same. This has inspired me to go black with my paint scheme. I’d guess the basement is about 2700-3000 sq ft. It’s about the size of mine.

That is what I asked him. I wish he would have listed the brand and colors. It looks a lot like Benjamin Moore's Cloud White, which is what I just used on my home. I'm searching for the right black contrasting color and think this one might be it--I'm hoping it's Benjamin Moore's Black Beauty.
