The way Erin Feasby spoke about the transformations in this stunning renovation breathed new life into the space, amplifying its beauty in ways I hadn’t even imagined. Her vision resonates so deeply with me-it's as if I’m seeing everything through her eyes, feeling every detail as she does. This isn’t just design; it’s pure artistry in every sense. Bravo to Erin and the entire team for creating such a masterpiece!

Gorgeous house! I especially love the banqueting because it is made of 2 benches instead of a built-in. It made the space light and airy because the floor underneath is exposed. And I also live the 2 windows flanking the oven. I imagine the kitchen still feeling warm and cosy even though the outside is covered in snow.

What a beautiful old house!! It's so good the owner wanted to keep the beautiful historic fireplace and I thought the detailing on the stairway was stunning. I adore his idea of a pergola built out of the old barn ruins.

Great farm house and addition, but thank God the owner won the battle to keep the original stone fireplace! What were those posh designers thinking?! Out of several fireplaces, what would be the hesitation to keeping one original, especially when it's stone like the exterior? I don''t get the X detail.

This is unique and beautiful. It is very difficult to get any sense of the spaces when all the camera work has focused in tightly on details, and yet when those details are being specifically spoken about - the newel post for example - there is no shot to illustrate the point. It is a shame as this is one of the few homes to stand out on this channel from the usual bland renovations.

1) No sink in the island!!!! This is destroying your one and only XXL buffet centre of the entire open space, that can be used as a wonderful display area for larger parties and gatherings. Plus when you sit around it, you always will look into the dirty dishes and stuff, that naturally come with a one sink kitchen. When you have such a long counter space along the wall, put both stove and sink right there and arange the windows within the new construction accordingly. 2) Way too monochrome and allthoug the colors are from F&B, it turned into another super boring pallet of "greige", that has been dominating the Toronto interior scene so long, that it makes you want to unlive. What happened to this gorgeously aged wood of the original deep window bays?? 3) THANK GOD the owner didn't allow them to do anything with the original stone fireplace!!

I absolutely hate a sofa at the end of the bed. Whoever thought that placing two large pieces of furniture next to each other looked good? It just looks weird. Chairs or a bench would be better at the end of the bed. Also, why do contractors always make the primary bedroom so large? You only use it for sleeping and intimacy. The rest of the day, you’re not in the bedroom. It makes no sense to have a large bedroom. I also don’t understand why people have formal living rooms. No one ever sits in them! They should have opted for an office instead.

Bland and boring. Looks like a cookie cutter catalogue style. The original woodwork, deep windowsills, etc are amazing, but other than that this design and color palate looks no different than a modern day brand new build.

It's bizarre how most of these designer/architect/renovator types say similar things about their projects - how they wanted to *really* preserve something or pay homage, how they wanted to make it warm or inviting and how it's so unique and original. And it's all bland, tasteless, almost depressing.
