I think the room looks lovely. From having studied in the UK I can never understand why brits love having carpeted floors everywhere. I'm Norwegian and we tend to have wooden floors with area rugs/carpets instead. Makes it so much easier to clean or change up the look and feel of a place. To each their own of course, but I have even seen carpet in some British bathrooms!

i think its because carpet = warmth; wooden floor = cold and not everyone can afford underfloor heating..😜

uhmm i live in the uk and houses here are old because when they were built they were built to last. so to rip flooring out to install underfloor heating is not usually done by everyone that is what i'm saying.

Guys you have done such an amazing job!What a beautiful bedroom and bathroom!I loved every single detail!Plus I love how different materials are used from people around the world.Seeing comments about wooden floors and carpets in the bathroom or other rooms.It's so lovely the different traditions that each ccountry has based on the weather I think.I live in Greece and we mostly have white marble or tiles for all our floors around the house.In the villages it is common to have wooden floors I think mostly because it keeps a more traditional look for the houses that are in the mountain or the woods.

it was definitely an 80s decorated house when you bought it, been there, seen it and done it lol lol. but agree hated the over the bed fitted cupboards, ripped them out of a house we bought back in the day. the place looks lovely x x

Beeeautifuuulll! colours are so soft and modern, and i like the bedroom and the bathroom being on the same color family, it gives the idea of a smooth flow and it's relaxing to the eyes. Your make up is lovely too, sofisticated and clean at the same time. Tutorial please and, again, i'd love to know what nail polish you are wearing. I can't take my eyes off of it!!
