Best inspiration pictures description ever?: "They're all places that I want to be, they're all places that I desperately want to spend an afternoon in. That's the real inspiration for those pictures. A place where you just want to plop down on the couch, and someone hands you a popsicle, and there is a nice breeze coming in through the window, and the birds are chirping. That's the vibe I'm going for." Love how this turned out, team AG 👏🏻❤ Amazing way to help Mimi reclaim that space after a breakup 🫶 Edit: btw is that Graham in a cat suit? 😂 Also, is he sponsored by DeWalt now? I really hope so!

OH MY GOD!!!!!! I cannot believe this....those last two pieces of wooden-framed art with the two birds. I have EXACTLY THE VERY SAME FRAMES (made in Spain, hand-carved) with two peacocks made with actual feathers! My mother purchased them many, many, many years ago, over 50 years ago. Alexandra, if you can please look on the back if they're made in Spain. This is unbelievable!! I lived in the States then (born there), but now I live in Athens. Greece for many years. Alexandra, I've been watching all your videos, you are a delight and talented in what you do and Graham is a miracle worker. Stay safe. Peace and Love ☮️❤️ from sunny 🌅 Greece 🏖️🇬🇷🇺🇲

@@ScowepHoly moly it is actually a SMALL world!!!!! Hi Mimi, so glad to hear from you😀. This was mind-blowing, when I saw those frames my jaw actually dropped to the ground. WOW!!! When I was on my honeymoon in Corfu, Greece many years ago, we stopped a couple of people in the street so they could take a picture of us. The lady turned out to be the sister of my landlord when I lived in Chicago. HOW'S THAT FOR A SMALL WORLD!!!! Mimi, bye for now. Stay safe. Peace and Love ☮️❤️ from sunny 🌅 Greece 🏖️🇬🇷🇺🇲

honestly i just feel the same about most her designs. Garish, gaudy, campy. She used to create more sleek and contemporary I thought, has ventured into country chic and hipster vibes the last few years. Seems to be a big market for it; glad the owner is stoked. Owner looks a hipster. I wonder if there's a modern "hipster" interior design mag or something we could pickup.

Yes, I think it’s a kindness in a creator to design a room that is for the individual and what they want, rather then pushing their personal style into someone else’s home. our homes are a very personal space, this client describing how she wants to feel in the room 🤗 and the trim, I just kept thinking watermelon popsicles. 😊this is a style I understand and like the relaxing feel, but there is a lighthearted feel. I appreciate the shelf along the wall, with the pictures lined below, all so tidy. This is one of my top room makeovers. When the client is shaking and tears flow, you know you nailed it.

LOVED the bright trim where it could meld with the rest of the stuff, but I’m having trouble enjoying it on those little plain walls around the doors. They feel forgotten. Would never choose a white piece of upholstered furniture myself, but I do grasp why you chose it, and I hope it’s comfy for Mimi’s guests. The use of real and quality art is such a relief (I’m a picture framer of 35 yrs standing, so your usual printout bits in cheap frames hurt my gut). With the exception of the crocheted pillow, I feel you have pretty much nailed this one!! Thanks and well done!

I like everything but the light fixture. It doesn’t really give cozy or vintage IMO. I also think maybe the Article sofa could have been a tad bit darker to hide that it is so modern. I get the importance of a good sleeper couch, but the bright white with those lines definitely stands out.
