I usually hate those atomic retro diagonal legs, too. This table isn't giving that. The key is that they don't extend beyond the width of the table top. Also the leg shape isn't that skinny tapered cylinder style that's become ubiquitous.

The new cushion covers go great with all the other nearby patterns, such as your upholstered sofa, WAS pillows, fireplace tile. And I want that jazz poster too. 3. The side table is cool. I think the angled legs are different because they're not cylindrical. And the wood tone makes it look more handmade and not of an inauthentic midcentury replica piece. 4. Love the art above your bed! Also your couch looks so comfortable. And I think the plaid bench was a great move as well. That giant bowel could be used for fruit too. Maybe store it under your bed or some other place when not in use. Or could be a catch all bowel in the office area. The shower curtains are fun! I feel like so many people mess shower curtains up and get a tacky or just cheap looking one. I agree with your thoughts on the side table too.
