Thanks for putting these videos in a playlist and in logical order so they can just play. As i have my coffee, your watch time easily goes up. Based on what i see, your channel will be monitized in no time. May my thumbs up connect you with everyone else looking for this content.

Thank you for the kind words! Hoping to put out a logical “flow” from having no knowledge of Home Assistant to setting up some automations like mine, with what you need along the way. It’s been a bit of a learning curve for pacing and sharing the right amount without boring, please let me know if something doesn’t make sense or if I skip something!

I have been learning to build virtual machines (VM) and when HA appeared to be something that would solve a problem for me I found that it was available VM format to download. It turned out to be the easiest VM that I have setup and it's been running non-stop for months on my NAS now. Brilliant.

I am planning on getting a Intel N100 based mini-PC soon. one of my requirements was USB power-delivery. this way I can power it with a single 100W multi-charger. combined with a PI for my energy monitor. and a USB powered switch

Double check your network card on the Intel N100! I've seen some folks having issues with HAOS not having the network driver
