Oh Julie, I was cringing with you there on the couch. I’ve heard many stories of a cervical lip like that needing assistance and they all said it was very painful. Praise the Lord that even in that you stayed faithful and within seconds were out of that pain. I’m so grateful that our bodies were designed to go from pain to glory and joy. Benjamin looks so much like Leo’s baby picture, what a sweet gift 💜

Totally! I have had 9 babies as well, and I have a tendency to go into labour when my children are all in bed too. It's when I can relax...."my ducks all lined up!" My 5th baby was 9 lbs 6oz...2 pound bigger than my previous....I felt the same way, "somethings not right???" My baby girl had shoulder distosia, and they needed to jump on my abdomen to get her out....brutal, but man, when she came out she was such a beauty! All glory to Him! Thank you for sharing!! ❤

Hi Sarah, your "clean up" query caught my eye and thought I could put in my two cents 😅. I have had two hospital births, one midwife assisted home water birth and two unassisted births and guess what? The unassisted births were the "cleanest", I was all ready for all sorts of fluids. I delivered on a baby mattress with towel prepped in my shower (it's a bigger shower floor) and there was barely anything.....I didn't cut the cord and allowed the placenta to detach naturally while baby was attached. Then I handed baby over to hubby and took a shower...that took care of all fluids. Sounds surreal, but unassisted births are sooooo different from assisted births (P.S.I"m a Kenyan mama that's been following your channel too for ages, hugs) I have a few
